CSM anime followed by FP movie trilogy soon

It is a masterpiece. You're not special for liking something good, user

How did Fujimoto manage to make this feel so... cinematic? The way he structures panels and cuts to moments like pic related are so powerfully subtle and natural. The way this whole manga explores a single persons mental sanity is masterful. Is there anything else like it?

I kneel

I fucking wish

Nah it's a dumpster fire, literally

Yeah there's some other good seinen out there. FP is a great gateway to psychological and absurdist seinen

The initial setting makes you believe the setting happens a few hundred years after Earth's ice age started (movie director watching modern-day movies, buildings and bunkers there and there) but it being actually thousands of years in the future with shit like nanomachines and genetically engineered clones and most of humanity actually leaving the Earth behind is a gaping plothole, it's like Fuji wanted to incorporate magic into the setting but couldn't because he established this was post-apocalyptic and didn't want to put magic in a post-apocalyptic world that used to be the modern real life world, so he asspulled magic nanomachines responsible for all cool stuff and all problems, without even addressing how people get their powers (afaik) if it's entirely nanomachines or anything like that
The manga was kino but the story itself wasn't that cool
I still don't know why that thread was deleted, it was originally on Zig Forums before being moved to Zig Forums

I'm not sure where everyone gets nanomachines from. The nanomachine speech struck me as more of a metaphor for magic in a world that doesn't have a simple concept of magic.

Read anything by Asano
he does the exact thing you describe but usually better

Kino

Nop.
I read all of it last night. The author just pulled shit out of his ass to make the story seem deep. Tons of plot holes, not needed characters and one of the worst endings ever.
Nobody should waste their time with this crap.

>to make it seem deep
Why do people say this? Fire Punch is extremely straightforward about what it's trying to say. It's a story about identity. There's nothing fake deep about it.
It's pretty clear this is a low-effort bait post though, so I don't even know why I bothered giving it a (You).

I've never been interested in reading this shit, so i'll take your word for it.

it do be kinda fire doe

Wouldn't call it a masterpiece, more like a rough diamond.

It has a terrible story and this is the only reason why I won't check CSM.

there's plenty of people that hate FP but enjoy CSM though

i don't remember it being nanomachines or anything like that desu
or anything to suggest that it's thousands rather than a few hundreds of years into the future
maybe 1000 at most

It is, getting filtered by it it's just proof that pretentious brainlets can't understand/empathize with it

I....kneel

No, its SJW propaganda and the end was senseless. But the first pages were awesome. It should have been an inestuous manga but the author is a dumb faggot. But this only page is KINO and the only reason why everyone should read fire punch.

No.

I KNEEL

What said.

And now stop beating that fucking horse, you faggots already killed HxH threads for every sane person.

Does anyone even deny that?
