Funimation Streams Chinese Animated Series Heaven Official's Blessing
Funi's first donghua series kicks off on October 30, English dub in 2021
Funimation officially announced its first ever Chinese animated series with the upcoming debut of Heaven Official's Blessing, a co-production by Bilibili and Haoliners Animation League that's based on the wildly popular Chinese fantasy novels by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu.
The donghua series' stream will kick off on October 30 with English subtitles in the following territories: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, with Mexico and Brazil to follow this winter.
Those who want to check it out in English-dubbed form will be able to do so when the dub launches sometime in 2021.
Best love story ever told is gonna get butchered. My hopes are low

Why do chinks like gay shits so much?
Robert Jones
Repressed homosexuality in a commie state that hates homos. Also, there are plenty of fujoshi there.
Henry Taylor
Why do japs like gay shit so much?
Ryder Price
>a corporate bug says chinkshit is anime No. Fuck off.
Juan Cook
So is this considered japanese anime or chinese cartoon?
Colton Stewart
>Chinkshit >Ever being considered as anime.
Ian Murphy
Mods already consider chinkshit anime But this thread may be deleted anyway because it dares to mention streaming.
Henry Murphy
They're really good at it, to be honest. Chinese b.l. and bisyounen characters are generally better than the Japanese ones and it tends to be based on historical settings and majestic long hair.
In any case debating about whether something is “anime” is so possibly dumber than debating what is true, and false black metal.
The romanization schemes that use make more sense than ; it's pronounced in Japanese, as in two consonants in succession, an s an a y, it's spelt as such in Japanese, but some Romanization schemes changed that to on the logic that that would be more accessible to English speakers.
It makes more sense to me to romanize it as “bisyounen” than “bishōnen” with “bishounen” making the least sense of all options.

Chinese homo will save BL. I hope for the rest of the world gets the uncensored version
Sounds like an attempt to detail the thread by talking about the retarded system Russia is using. According to it [Sh] = [s] therefore sushi is Susi or some shit
Leo Diaz
No, they don't. Whomever came up with that nihon-shiki abomination had never studied Latin. As expected of braindead Japanese bureaucrats. You can't trust a Jap on linguistics, they have no clue about European languages.
Easton Baker
Tell me more about the Russian system. I want a good laugh.
Yeah, no. Chinks are cracking down on homo hard. Maybe if Chinese creators sell all their copyrights to Japanese.
Jason Garcia
There's at least 5 anime homo adaptations that are coming out next year. And at least 10 bl live actions. Bl is thriving despite being reduced to subtext in the adaptations. The novels still have the romance but the sex scenes are included only in TW editions

>chinese-animated-series Then it's NOT, fucking, ANIME.
Chinese Animated series. For something to be anime is has to be animated, & produced by Japanese people.
Austin Harris
So what? I said two different things at the same time. I said both their boy's love and bisyounen characters were better. The bisyounen outside of boy's love are also very good.
That you even use the phrase “European languages” as if it be meaningful shows your own ignorance about linguistics.
Nihon-Siki makes far more sense to anyone who isn't an ignorant Anglo-Saxon that feels that the entire world should adopt strange English spelling conventions that everyone finds baffling. is absolutely the most straightforward way to spell a succession of the two sounds that are spelt and in isolation.
And actually drawn by Koreans and Chinese. The true Japanese anime

Sadly all the gay scenes will be censored

Don’t forget Vietnam

So Afro Samurai isn't an “anime” because it only has official English audio?
I swear this label “anime” is so dumb and Japanmen are always confused why U.S.A.-men often care so much about that distinction.
If one ask a random Japanman on the street what his favorite “anime” is there's a good chance he'll say “Tom & Jerry”.
Ayden Green
Since it was half Japanese, it counts as anime production. Same goes for productions like Sherlock Hound and similar. Fuck off from Zig Forums and go to Zig Forums if you want to complain.
