Spice Girls allows Trish to tank the kinds of hits that Doppio had to take on the chin, while King Crimson (let's say sans Epitaph since Doppio is dead) can still manipulate causality.
GER can't hit Trish - Spice Girls and KC don't allow it, so the infinite lifeshot can't happen.

GER hits Mista with an infinite lifeshot, allowing him to spend a conceptual eternity firing Sex Pistols at Trish/Diavolo until he finds a way to connect the shot.
If KC still has Epitaph, this fuckers his ability to percieve the future since there are infinitely many outcomes to Mista's shot.
Mista's shot hits Trish's body (with GER giving the bullet life energy) so she undergoes a second scene similar to Spice Girl's awakening, mentally sublimating Diavolo's spirit into hers and allowing herself to be shot with the GER bullet.
Then she wakes up to realize that she didn't die from the GER bullet and in fact absorbed Diavolo's spirit by making him accept the inevitability of his own death, peacefully. Trish inherits Crimson Queen, a fusion of Spice Girl and CK but with only the ability to "soften" causality, protecting her subliminally like her father should have
