Peerless Dad

Thoughts on this series?

God tier gookshit.

is there rape?

Its not bad, but I couldn't get invested into it. Probably because I'm young and not yet a parent myself.

It's a spinoff of Red Storm, another Korean webcomic I like.

I haven't seen any directly.

I couldn't get into red storm but PD is fantastic.

Over the last few years I'm feeling like Koreans are doing classical martial arts manga better than japs. Peerless Dad and Yongbi are both some of the best I've read.

it's actually really good, i love Noh's character

we still have blade of immortal sequel, kengan, shummatsu no valkrie,OPM
theres like 3 above average gookshit

That's why I said lately, and Shuumatsu / Kengan / OPM are fun but they're not classic martial arts in any sense. OPM isn't martial arts at all, Shuumatsu is retarded fun.

It's not a giant crossover, but the martial god with the spiky hair gets isekaied to Red Storm's setting (where his hair turns black for some reason) and trains the main character, then he comes back for a little bit to Peerless Dad's setting, which might appear in a future chapter of Peerless Dad.

even tho I liked peerless dad I felt like its still inferior to long wolf and cub also i fucking hate that every single gook manghwa have the same premise and 2 setting (school and cultivation wuxia)

I love this series a lot, not many stories about a single father trying to raise his kids.

Sure, but LW&Cub is one of the absolute classics of martial arts manga. Peerless Dad is still very high quality.

>i fucking hate that every single gook manghwa have the same premise and 2 setting (school and cultivation wuxia)
You obviously haven't read a lot of gookshit.
Not that I blame you, but there's a lot of good stuff too.

I'm so fucking glad we're almost done with the Golden Demon bullshit. Otherwise a great series, give me more of the sister

I tried like 30 of them but dropped like 30ch in because of shitty panelling or boring story

Read Yongbi. It's a proper manga, not a webtoon (the sequel Gosu is) and it has no cultivation bullshit.

And there's also Shin Angyo Onshi, a classic. Most Korean stuff is complete garbage, but so's most random manga to be honest.

I'll say this, if the series has one weakness, it's the pacing. When rereading the series, it's not even noticeable, but the weakly waiting time and the slow drip of actual thing happening can be a little frustrating. Even though the Golden demon was kind of meh at times, it is nice to finally get some indication of where the mc's martial arts come from, how they are actually supposed to be used, and the next step for the mc in his martial arts journey.

>When rereading the series, it's not even noticeable, but the weakly waiting time and the slow drip of actual thing happening can be a little frustrating.
That's a problem a lot of slower paced manga have. The chapters feel super short. But hey, if you can binge read it and it's good, it's fine in my book.

>give me more of the sister
this, i love the kids and their progression

Can't wait for her to sweep away the competition.
Take out the trash, if you will.

Enjoyable. Certainly has a different sort of premise for a fightan and murim story

>this scene happens
>I am immediately concerned for the kid's
I'm waiting for this man to go postal. We all know it's going to happen.

I really want to see the rest of the mc's previous crew, no doubt there's a lot of interesting stories there.

>I really want to see the rest of the mc's previous crew
Same, at this point we know Noh was like lower mid-tier for the Murim and his crew are all probably monsters given how Aak basically solos anyone in the heavenly dragon pavilion so far.

Yongbi is 20 years old dude.

>I haven't seen any directly.
thanks, I'm gonna pick it up.
I just hate rape, and koreans seems to like it.

>Aak basically solos anyone in the heavenly dragon pavilion so far.
I'm curious as to what this guy's martial art is, since he seemed to be able to effortless and cleanly behead seemingly strong people

Sure, but Gosu is ongoing, and while it's not as good it's not much worse.

He hasn't fought anyone truly strong though, has he?

Thing about Noh is that his martial art's always been incomplete, but it's clear he was the leader because of how clever and brutal he was.

Gosu is fun.

>He hasn't fought anyone truly strong though, has he?
As far as we know, the Three Deaths that Aak murdered were supposed to be the some pretty formidable enforcers for the current successor's faction. He behead 2 of them in what amounts to a sneak attack, but the more recent chapter shows that Aak is pretty good. I don't think he's on the level of any of the Dragon's themselves, since even Noh his 1st brother isn't there yet. But Aak is still pretty strong on his own.
