If I remember right, you don't edit the folder so much as you edit the image. It needs to be converted into an icon. Then you go into the folder properties/customize: change icon.
But I've never cared to do this for my own folders, so my memories may be wrong.

I found out that having a collection readily available was actually bad for me. I simply did not start watching them. So I purged all of it and at most gather 5 different shows outside of currently airing stuff and when they are done, I gather 5 more. Though right now only some stuff on the movies folder are new for me, the others outside of KKKB are my rewatching shows.
