To be honest, Healin Good is a snorefest even for an adult, while ST had lively af characters and visuals.

At first I thought I waste 460mb watching this 6 minute thing. But no, the ending ties into the movie. If in future you see someone who about to watch Maho, tell them to watch the lesson before standalone movie.

Pretty much, but this time I can actually understand them, I feel like corona break somehow disconnected me from the series.

Every year some people who felt like the current season is underwhelming is gonna say that, duh.
This time around, I'm so fucking bored out of my mind, and hate all the god forsaken males getting most attention, alongside an actual granny Cure.

yeah kinda feel the same way. I don't even think HG is bad but I'm just not feeling it. I think the only other time I've felt like I was just going through the motions while watching a season, even the ones I hated, was Max Heart. And again I think HG is infinitely better than that season but I really do feel the same way I felt then while watching this season lately.

Never. Girl x Heroine is Toku and Precure mashed together. Going animation would kill that niche and turn it into another run-of-the-mile child show that sell less than Precure.

Eh the actual reason is the reduced capacity in the theaters.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is doing great in the same pandemic context though, that's a weak argument.
