After Cell
After the original manga ended.
He still somewhat cared in Buu since he used it as a mean to just have fun with whatever idea/concept, which is why it was way weirder when compared to the rest.
In the 2000s, when Jump asked him to draw DBZ's cast for the magazine, he flat out said that doing that reminded him of how much he doesn't want to draw dragon ball now.
how rich is this old fuck now?
He cared enough to actually get pissed at what the americans did to it in 2008.
Buu was great.
Richer than Rumiko.
What happened?
Yeah pretty much. Drawing the same thing nonstop for 10 years would make me feel the same way. God knows how Oda must feel
oda is insane

When he couldn't draw dumb humor and loosely dressed lolis on a regular basis anymore
Some authors are more than capable of working on the same thing for more than 10 years and still enjoying it.
is she going to be ok?
he said he never cared.
based
When his editor kept making him change the villains of the cyborg/cell arc.
1989 when he told the anime staff to call the second series Z in hopes that that would be the end of it and he wouldn't have to make a sequel.
sauce?
>we've entered a time period where newfags dont even know about dragonball evolution
I weep

I never gave a shit about it, I only like Dr. Slump.
Americans don't know what they are missing out.
>When he couldn't draw dumb humor and loosely dressed lolis on a regular basis anymore.
He's not allowed to do naked shotas anymore either.
Dr. Slump and the original Dragon Ball were full of fanservice.
The first chapter
It was always shit
Maybe about the end of Pilaf arc. Aftef that, the story feels different
>the story feels different
This isn't an inherently bad thing. The Red Ribbon Army is the best arc of the original half. Pilaf is just different since it was concurrent with the beginning of the series; it was more of an adventure "Search for the Dragon Balls" thing then. It turned to martial arts at the Budokai, RRA made it into a more serious action story overall, and the next arcs being Piccolo Daimaou sandwiched by two tournaments cemented it as a pure battle shounen.
Everything RRA and earlier is unique in that it isn't straight fighting all the time, even the RRA arc keeps the fun adventuring spirit.
When he halfway through the story changed the manga from a comfy comedy tale to a garbage for brainlet burgers and other niggers
when dragon quest was the superior choice for his designs.
yes
he should have stopped when gohan surpassed his father
>franchise
Buu says: Cell saga is shit and only highly praised as the "best" arc for SS2 Gohan scenes which can not even remotely compare to SS Goku vs Freeza
