The least terrible. Pointless, rushed retelling of the first episodes of the original series. Worse animation and terrible CGI, overdone action scenes (Ramiel fight).

Dumb timeskip, "curse of Eva", AAA Wunder, beast mode, overlong pointless action scenes, barely anything is explained about the 15 years that passed, the whole plot could be avoided in q 30 seconds conversation, if Misato just explained to Shinji the current state of affairs. Even worse animation and absolutely vomit-inducing CGI, which is also a lot more prominent.
The only consistently great aspect of the Rebuid's is the music. Sagisu is a genius.
