>Nodoka's former personal doctor, Hachisuka-sensei, arrives in Sukoyaka City. He is delighted to see that Nodoka has gotten healthy and surrounded herself with many friends. While Sawaizumi is over for company at the Hanadera household, Hachisuka-sensei reveals that he has quit working at the hospital. 34: I'm a Rival!? Chiyu's Desired Wings
>Script: Hirota Mitsutaka / SB/ED: Murakami Takayuki / AD: Shitaya Miho
>At the track-and-field meet, Chiyu surpasses Takami Tsubasa, an athlete from Nishi Middle, breaks the meet's records, and emerges victorious. The next day, a track-and-field magazine requests an interview from Chiyu, who is to be featured alongside Tsubasa. After they finish their interview, Tsubasa, who deems Chiyu to be her rival and is about to move abroad, tells her, "I look forward to the day we meet at an international tournament." However, Chiyu has never once thought of aiming to run or high jump at an international level. This disappoints Tsubasa, who informs Chiyu that she practiced after the meet and managed to break Chiyu's record, and leaves. Reflecting on what Tsubasa told her and the time she began to run and high jump, she repeatedly practices in an attempt to further surpass her previous record. Having finally beat it, Chiyu visits Nishi Middle with the intention of telling Tsubasa about the thoughts welling up inside her, but it was too late; Tsubasa had already left. Chiyu wants to run after Tsubasa, but Rate starts to sneeze...
This episode was outsourced to Studio Guts, who previously worked on 2, 12, 18, and 25, so it should be a lot of fun.

35: Tossing Hand-to-Hand! Connecting the Balls, Treating Youth!
>Script: Hirabayashi Sawako / SB: Komura Toshiaki / ED: Tobita Tsuyoshi / AD: Fujiwara Mikio
Storyboard is by the Splash Star/Yes! 5/GoGo! director, who hasn't worked on a Precure series since Heartcatch. I honestly can't remember if he's good or not but I did find one of his storyboards for Buddha 2.

The name links between Makopi and Kenzaki, and both being Blade/Sword is a funny coincidence if it's not an intentional callback. There's not much reference to other SHT outside of ad breaks so I'm not too sure.I have Blade downloaded to my PC and a friend to watch it with down the line, we're going through other stuff first. Excited to experience the onduru language.

DROP

What's that mean?

FIRE

I hope Chiyu's episode is good. She really needs it.

GEMINI

>They don't know
My silly imoutos can not be this cute and naive.

BURNING DIVIDE

I doubt it.
Chiyu lacks what is needed for a good episode.

To be fair I didn't care about Elena until her endgame arc happened. I don't expect Chiyu's episode(s) to blow me away but it's possible.

SAYOKOOOO

I don't think that. Elena had some amazing episodes and nobody thought she had what was necessary. Except me. All Chiyu needs is a chance to shine.

Oh I had never seen this one, quite dramatic. Thank you kindly, user. We should probably pivot the thread back to /pc/ now.

What is your favorite fairy, anons?

She didn't have what was necessary, that's why the later episodes didn't work as well as they could've had the whole smile stuff been better foreshadowed.

Mofurun, she was the one shining ray in that show

Wrong. Elena's episodes before her final arc were fine, her last arc only improved on her.

Hugtan.

>Hana's expression
Hot

Elena one actual episode before her final arc was about her brother. They most certainly were not fine, and they didn't do anything to set up her character conflict that just pops up at the end because they didn't know what else to do with her.

I concur

Where can I buy figures? I kinda want to buy the Smile team to put it on my desk.

The dog planet episode, her episode with Yuni, her episode with Madoka, her episode with the space cactus, and the episode with Tenjo infiltrating the school were all fine. You don't know what you're talking about.

None of those earlier episodes were actually about her except the cactus and Madoka one, the cactus one taking place in the last half of the show and the Madoka one telling us nothing about her as a character. The Tenjo one is a part of her final arc, which leads me to believe you've never actually watched the show if you think otherwise.

In any case, none of those advance Elena as a character, or prepare the audience for her later character conflict about her smile being insincere. There is a reason why everybody thought Elena was shafted, and while her later episodes were nice, they were stymied by them coming out of nowhere character-wise. Even with Madoka, whose arc got botched because they didn't let her father do anything meaningful, at least had her issues with her father set up ahead of time.

>The Tenjo one is a part of her final arc
That episode helped to set up Elena's final arc like how Minami meeting that marine vet set up her final arc. Like I said, you don't know what you are talking about.

It was literally 3 episodes later, stop embarrassing yourself (and at least try to actually the whole post, rather than just the one snippet you think you can attack because you don't have an actual argument).
