Kaiju n8

what happened to this manga?
and why isn't Zig Forums talking about it anymore?

Kino but they take brakes every 2 weeks

People legitimately acted like the author shot their dog when they said they'd take a break every three weeks

Author killed the hype and then the manga
Pity because It had a good start

Other than that the MC is 30yo retarded kid

there are barely 12 chapters and they are getting shorter and shorter already

read through a few pages
the art is video-gamey and the references are kinda on-the-nose (his name is kafka for fucks sake) but if there the author keeps the quality up then it seems to be a stable 7/10

Screw those people. Mangakas out of all people deserve a reasonable amount of down time.

MC having to laylow and not show his true power is retarded. Dropped.

>finally an adult MC
>Asta is more mature

I like it, but it makes no sense he doesn't just come clean with his issue. Sure, he going to get experimented on, but it would help everyone in the long run.

The honeymoon phase is over and all that's left are the people who like the series for what it's become.

>but it makes no sense he doesn't just come clean with his issue
>Sure, he going to get experimented on, but it would help everyone in the long run.
Given that they use Kaiju body parts to literally fuel their technology, I think in the interest of staying alive his silence is perfectly reasonable. The revelation that there are more "human" Kaiju around will further reinforce his current silence as there wouldn't be a real way to prove he isn't a monster imitating a human.

A lot of the excitement came from false expectations that it would actually be about the cleanup crew to some extent. Now it just lives in that yozakura exist state, I still find it mildly enjoyable but it's nothing that special.

It really just hasn't gone anywhere. I think he's done maybe 2 transformed fights that each only lasted like 1 punch. I don't see why they're avoiding the core of the setting so much. I wanted to see monster man vs monsters not random mooks shooting magic guns at monsters.

it had millions of hits on the official app
and then it died

Agreed. It has an interesting premise but it is leaning way too hard on the more generic squad of monster hunters. I like the main three characters and think the cast size issue probably won't get better any time soon.

well it only has 15 chapters

Real question is why are you talking about it.

because not even a month ago everyone was going crazy about it and convinced me to read it

> your manga peaks at the first chapter
women

lmao and then she keeps getting breaks
not even GODA gets such special treatment

Long breaks for short chapters. Sure, I don't want the author to burnout like it happened for TG:re, but there isn't much to discuss

>it had millions of hits on the official app
>had
It's the fastest manga to 30 million hits on Jump+, it trends on twitter every chapter, for nips the hype is only increasing. Don't be surprised when v1 does blockbuster numbers in December

I hope the manga becomes a SxF-type success and not an Abyss Rage-like.

It's just good first volume syndrome. The author had the whole thing pre-prepared and polished and only now do we get actual serialization work.

No idea, the latest chapter was great

He should just switch to bi-weekly release like for example Fire Punch was.

Fire Punch was weekly with breaks just like this and any other weekly Jump Plus manga. Young Jump titles also take breaks all the time. It's only WSJ who are obsessed with the weekly schedule

flop n8 cant compare to agravitychads

it would help everyone in the long run if you stopped wasting air and donated all your organs user

dead manga, no one is going to buy physical

Manga looks and reads like a walk in from a middle schooler who tried to write mainstream shonen after reading some one punch man.
It was a "could be rad" that confirmed how bad it was very quickly.
