What
why

Seasons 2 and 3 were a mess

GASH BELL

How so?

Stuffing too many books into a small amount of episodes. S3 did 9 book in 26, had horrible animation, and had to cut out an entire book because they didn't have enough time

One Piece
3-4 chapters covered per episode
Not by Toei

Blue Exorcist

You're 200% right but it will never happen. Japan is super autistic when it comes to tradition. They'll never take things like DBZ or One Piece away from Toei because muh tradition or how Bamco makes 80% of anime games and no one takes the license away from them despite them just shitting put low quality products.

Why

Toriko.

I hope it gets a remake someday.

Why would you finish for an inferior version to any series?

Nah man Trigun the anime and Trigun Maximum are two different things. Anime does certain things better and Maximum does different things better

Nothing "needs" to be adapted.

Opm season 2 and presumably 3

This so much.
Also, when Elendira appears it'll be a shitshow

Beelzebub already got an adaptation so getting a second one wouldn't really hurt plus the first one had shitty fight animation and a shitty anime original ending

Umineko and Tsukihime

The compromise they seem to have come up with for One Piece is just to occasionally make 1-2 hour specials that gives a cliffnotes version of an entire arc for people who can't be assed to invest hundreds of hours into catching up. Which isn't a very good solution either, but whatever.

It got one, they made a new season that ignored the anime only ending.
