Yes, but it's more complicated than that: Luffy vs Katakuri wasn't a fight of strength, it was a metaphorical fight.

Katakuri's goal is to protect his family from all threats (Luffy, and Big Mom), the first part of the fight was about getting rid of Luffy until he understood that Luffy only cares about defeating BM and so isn't a threat to his siblings.

The second part of the fight was to test if Luffy has the potential to defeate her, and once Katakuri acknowledged his potential, he asked him if he'll come back to defeate her, to which Luffy answers he will.

Luffy isn't a threat, BM will be taken care of, there's no threats left for Katakuri's siblings, therefor, he has no more reasons to fight, and let Luffy go

He didn't let him win by holding back or something but by deciding to fall over after their final clash. At that point both of them were pretty close bleeding out and he realized Luffy was enough of an idiot to continue. As said he also realized the life of his siblings weren't in danger and also had a good fight he was looking for in a while.

They're not even close to starting the Oden flashback yet, and they're gonna milk that sucker for every episode they can squeeze. I wouldn't count on seeing our favorite retarded pachy until at least third quarter 2021.

Shanks pretty obviously has a devil fruit that lets him give the impression that's a greater man than he actually is. In Romance Dawn it's clear that Shanks is a generic, two-bit pirate. He's certainly not a Yonko and he's certainly not powerful at all, same with his crew. Luffy admired them because they still represented all the ideals of a pirate in his eyes, namely freedom. He may or may not have weak CoC, but it doesn't really matter. Oda gave us hints about Shanks being a weakling by saying that he and Buggy had the same potential. People just misinterpreted it as Buggy being lazy, but he really meant that Shanks and Buggy are and have always been about on par in terms of strength. Shanks gained his reputation solely from the fruit, which he obtained shortly after losing his arm (note that we never see him swim at any point afterwards). It explains a lot of plotholes, since knowing Shanks was a weakling before losing his arm, he would have never had the opportunity to be a "rival" to Mihawk. In fact, they've never fought at all, Mihawk just thinks Shanks was a powerful swordsman and his rival because Shanks uses his fruit to give that impression. Now despite being weak, that doesn't prevent Shanks from mastering his fruit, and based on Marineford it's obvious he's awakened it - his retarded weakling crew, now sporting silly capes, are all able to give the impression that they're great pirates as well, as if they're REAL yonko commanders when they obviously aren't. The idea of Ben Beckman being able to threaten Kizaru is laughable, but Kizaru was just influenced by his fruit. Shanks didn't actually "clash" with Akainu when he saved Coby, either. Akainu just stopped because he thought he was fighting a Yonko and stood down. Shanks has never really done ANYTHING, everything he does comes from other people just thinking he's so great that they get out of his way. It even explains his dealings with the World Government.

Well besides the obvious change in visuals, digital storyboarding will cause the choreography to become much more static than with hand drawn, as they'll go to lengths to cut corners by reusing footage and loop frames.
