I mean, they killed Curious, they're a bunch of nutjobs, Shiggy's a suicidal nihilist who'll leave the role of commander empty if he gets his wish of dying, etc.
It would also make Skeptic not figuring out Hawks was a traitor seem realistic. It wasn't that he didn't figure it out, it's that he simply didn't care. Hawks taking out Twice means that the league's most loyal member and one of their greatest assets was no more.

Got a few;
Theory #1: Deku's dad is part of the Japanese government that works overseas and he will arrive to Japan to take his family to either Britain or America to get his son away from the villains. Deku will have a fall out against his dad who will make an attempt to protect his son by forbidding him to be a hero.
Theory #2: with the rising threat of the Japanese villains, America/Britain will send their own brand of heroes which we'll see are actually just solders with quirks and Japan is put under "marshal law".
Theory #3: Dabi is actually a fuse between Toyua and that legendary their and that their villain fought both Hawks and Toyua when they were still kids. The their villain' quirk is to replace a victims body with the user while keeping their memories.
