In no way was it a happy ending. They both died young as hell. They wanted more days to spend with each other but only had so few. When they finally found the thing they wanted, it just fucking ends. It is sad as fuck.

I dont know, considering he was on the path of loneliness and probably eventual suicide, getting to spend your last days next to someone you love seems like a fantastic way to go. Sad too, story started strong but the second it turned to some generic romance was the second i stopped caring. I think i came into this expecting no romance, but i guess thats asking too much from nips to make a story involving a guy and a girl without them fucking at some point.

Pain Pain Go Away was also good. I don't think I enjoyed the rest as much as Lifespan and PPGA. I read almost of his stuff. Parasite or whatever was okay, but nothing special, then we had one that spanned two volumes about a mermaid curse. It was dragged out, even though there were times it was good, mediocre. There was also one were MC got reborn or something and watching his previous self, but that was trash. Azur and Cloude is alright. He has a new popular one that I have yet to read.

It's worse to have a loving relationship with a timer on its duration that to have never loved at all.

He always add an interesting supernatural element to his stories, and he always make flawed MC, but he doesn't always deliver a good story at the end of it all. This one had the best emotional payoff. The rest are pretty much lukewarm. There was one with revenge which I found enjoyable but not too much payoff.

Did you read his 'Your Story'? That's an excellent one, on par with Three Days of Happiness I'd say
