It practically was tho. It was said by a VA that the season had 10 more remaining episodes after the 37th (counting episode 37), so it would put it at 46 episodes AND 2 weeks before the solo movie comes out, which is a nice time to end the season and keep the HG interest on.

If each Bottle HAD AN SPECIFIC ABILITY, like the ice bottle, then the cures wouldn't need to rely on the finisher bottle so much. Each bottle basically is a beam shot, even the fruit sword element (Air and Sound gets a pass, but because the Harp does it).
