It was fucking stupid that Ichigo didn't end up with Rukia. It would have made thematic sense, his shinigami father married a non-shinigami woman, continuing and reinforcing the idea of life and death being a cycle, he saved her more times than orihime, hell, orimhime was more cooch crazy, fuck me eyes over the short emo that than with ichigo. One of the few series I didn't want one of the MC's dere comrades winning, but the Tsundere. For goodness' sake, Arisawa, barely in the manga, had more chemistry with ichigo than orihime.
