So last night i was a dumbass and skipped a step i sent tether to an eth wallet. I didnt exchange tether for eth then sent eth to the wallet. Anything I can do to get the tether back?

USDT is Ethereum token so you will be able to retrieve it. Easiest way is probably by accessing wallet you had it sent to through Metamask -> add USDT token and you should be able to see it.

Tether is an erc20 token. Like link is also an erc20. Means they were built using the ether platform, so uses the same wallets

Coinbase is always willing to fuck you over one way or another. You wont be able to retrieve the money yourself since they wont let you have your private key. Try talking to their shitty customer support and move your coins to Metamask before they decide to ban you for some unknown reason.
