I think Yamada would be happy to see Ichi be nice to people who aren't her, particularly when they're her friends. If she got insecure about Moe in particular it would probably be more because she's the one who actually talks to him the most and she probably has more of an overlap in interests with him than Yamada does, not because of one or two instances of Ichi going out of his way to help/defend her.
Regardless, I feel like it would probably just end in something similar to the "I can only see you" scene where Yamada voices her insecurity in a round-about way and Ichi shuts it down without even (consciously, at least) knowing what she's actually worried about.

The roles are reversed, and everyone who sees them together wonder who someone like Yamada got their hands on Ichikawa. But Ichikawa doesn't notice this and still thinks of her the same way as he did in middle school.
