Weak characters.

The stories are generally better and the characters that were neglected in S1 finally get some spotlight, but without the original director the show doesn't look nearly as good.

Other than the main cast, I did much prefer this over Trigun. Can’t compare the manga versions though since this series hasn’t been updated in a while and large chunks of it are missing.

He has all the Chad like qualities.

It tried desperately to fix the mess S1's director made by cutting out the character introductions and early arcs, but as a promotional point the first episode adapts a way later chapter, so everything's out of chronological order and caused Anons to flip their shit.

That she progressed backwards because her first interactions before she warmed up to Leo are in S2 instead of S1. They couldn't grasp why she'd suddenly be so rude to him out of nowhere when S1 already showed her attitude from after that story.
