>Ch 19: admits he is just enjoying himself attacking the heroes
>Ch 69: wants to kill all might and cause enough destruction so that all the people who think heroes keep them safe feel as afraid as he did when no one saved him
>Ch 125: suddenly wants to become the next leader of the underworld
>Ch 222: says he realizes even if hero society crashes and he becomes king of the underworld he'll still be angry, so now he wants to destroy everything
>Ch 235: after getting his memories back says he realizes he is just a being meant to destroy and wants to destroy everything. Now he is 'liberated' from his families memories
>Ch 246: tells the doctor he wants new power to fully crush all might and the heroes
>Ch 270: in his dream it symbolizes him walking away from his family towards afo, symbolizing him being liberated from his families memories and accepting afo, even though he was already liberated from them and had accepted afo this entire time
>Ch 277: afo vestige tries to take him over, so he 'destroys it' and says he controls himself. So the whole symbolism of him accepting 'afo's will' was pointless and got destroyed 7 chapters later.
>Ch 281: nevermind, he wants to destroy this corrupt hero society because he's mad the system 'rejected' him by walking past him when he needed help just like before, so I guess that 'destroy everything' stuff was pointless
>Ch 285: apparently afo wasn't destroyed and he doesn't control himself because when he's about to lose afo vestige comes back and takes him over. So him destroying it was pointless too.
>Ch 287: nevermind, we are back to destroying everything, and he also wants to destroy afo because he hates him too for...saving his life during this battle?
What's more embarrassing, this 'development', or the fact people think it's good?
At least he doesn't describe everything as a video game analogy anymore.
Carson Walker
Hori can't write and you should have realized you wasted your time on this shit series since All Might vs AFO didn't end in All Night's heroic sacrifice.
Samuel Harris
now way bro
Leo Morris
AfO just manipulated his life all the time. Not really hard to grasp, considering that dude even fucked up his granny and cut off her hand, then gave it to Shiggy as a gift.
Carson Lopez
exactly, he even lost his endearing outfit and personality quirk. His development should have been the easiest thing to do, in fact the options are obvious, yet somehow it was totally botched. We are presented him getting epiphany after epiphany that changes nothing.
Dominic Hall
when did he ever say he was mad at afo for 'manipulating' him? All he said was he wants to be his own man and doesn't like that afo lost.
Liam Parker
I don't even read this but chapter 69 sounded the most interesting.
Nolan Hernandez
Shiggy's feelings towards AfO are irrelevant, though, and that's part of the point. AfO most likely controlled every aspect of his life up until now, considering he basically just wants to take over Shiggy's body right now to get a better vessel for quirk storage, and Shiggy's body is a warzone between his own mind and the mind of OfA that was transferred along with his original quirk.
Bentley Walker
it's the most contrived and unrealistic and poorly written.
John Allen
Are you still reading MHA because you like it or because you invested so much time into it?
Connor Barnes
>Shiggy's feelings towards AfO are irrelevant, though, and that's part of the point. The point is it's supposed to be shigaraki 'surpassing' his master and becoming his own man. It falls apart because he's shown 'breaking free' right after the dream sequence where he accepted afo, and now afo had to come back to save him. >considering he basically just wants to take over Shiggy's body right now to get a better vessel for quirk storage, He never said he had that intent, in fact just the opposite.
The hell happened to his left hand? I know destro squeezed 3 fingers off but whats that rectangular thing and why does it stand out so much?
Chase Robinson
No one thinks it's good, only villainfags think that. He started as a retarded manchild and now he became a retarded manchild with godly powers
Jaxon Miller
Yeah I've been wondering this ever since I saw this panel. It looks weird and not in a normal missing 3 fingers way. Why does he have a stump like that wtf?
Christopher Barnes
>debunked by my understanding of the story kek >tenkocel now that a new one
>The point is it's supposed to be shigaraki 'surpassing' his master That's just Shiggy's partial motivation, though. AfO is clearly leading him on to fuck him over.
>It falls apart because he's shown 'breaking free' Yeah, because Shiggy is a strong vessel, exactly what AfO wanted. AfO is clearly amused about all this shit when he's shown in the mind of Shiggy.
>had to come back to save him He's not saving Shiggy, he's just saving his tool meant to steal/destroy OfA.
>He never said he had that intent, in fact just the opposite. His actions clearly show that he deems himself commander of ship when shit goes down, and just invades Shiggy's body and mind as he sees fit. That dude's been a villain for like a century at this point. He's not going tsundere for Shiggy, he's just using him.
Samuel Diaz
Shigaraki will realize at some point that all the shit about just wanting to destroy everything is just something AfO made him believe. Then he'll either get redeemed for five seconds and die or he'll get a full redemption arc.
