Here's why I didn't really enjoy it: >Stand battles were so bad that the only time I enjoyed them was when they were serious or involved plot development. The fact they're so short and beaten with some stupid solution or asspull makes them less impactful >The stands are terrible. It's like Araki took old stands, nerfed them, and slightly altered their features. They aren't even more strategic or interesting >Minor villains sucked except for a few >Spin magically does anything that is convenient to the story. I still don't understand how it works because of the nonsensical shit it does >The Devil's Palm is the best version of the stand arrow, and then when it turned out to belong to Jesus Christ I stopped taking the story seriously >Funny's transition from fat goofy president into jacked, patriotic, noble dimension-hopping god-like character wasn't believable
It's supposed to be a reimagining of Part 1-3, and Hamon did the same thing in terms of plot device. Remember Joseph's asspulls?
Steel Ball Run is also a story about Redemption, rebirth, and rediscovery. If you thought stands anf old characters were rehashed, that's because they were. Araki wanted to go back to his roots and start over after Stone Ocean, and it showed
As for the different Valentine, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap itself selects the best version and brings it to the base universe.
It's fine if you didn't enjoy it, but I hope I explained it as best I could to you
Have you started JoJoLion? All your issues here are mostly addressed
I do not get attention in my real life so I will shitpost and get YOUs on Zig Forums so I can feel a human connection. Pathetic.
You know Part 7 is the best in the series yet post this crap.
Parker Turner
From the way of writing and the content of the first post, it is clear that it is always the same people (or maybe just one) who create these threads. '' Just finished part 7 '' '' Just finished part 3 '' '' Part 4 is the worst part ''.... By now it's clear. At least, try to change the topic, for once
Angel Williams
Most of these are pastas anyway. The only meaningful JoJo discussion on Zig Forums are during the anime and JoJolion
Levi Gutierrez
Jojolion "discussion" is just memes now.
Juan Stewart
The threads were much better around Chapter ~95 were everyone was getting hyped up by the then upcoming Wonder of U fight
Jeremiah Flores
This stupid fucking 'merge' meme has been so annoying
Kayden Nguyen
The meme only came to be because nothing is happening in this arc. I'll bet it'll get washed away in 5 chapters. Joshu is here to stay though
Alexander Cook
And that's a problem how?
Sebastian Russell
>but I hope I explained it as best I could to you You didn’t explain shit, all you said was Part 7 was a remake of 1-3, which is obvious just like Part 8 is a remake of Part 4, Part 9 (the Final Part) will most likely be a remake of Part 5-6
part 8 is not a remake of part 4, they are completely different, only thing that is related are some character names
Joshua Murphy
>The stands are terrible. It's like Araki took old stands, nerfed them, and slightly altered their features. They aren't even more strategic or interesting Yeah there were a lot of rehashes in stand, a super obvious one was the magnetic trio >Minor villains sucked except for a few Once again the magnetic trio were the absolute low point of SBR Wekapipo was a notable character but then araki decided to just kill him off. >Spin magically does anything that is convenient to the story. I still don't understand how it works because of the nonsensical shit it does Agree with this. The point when gyro's ball turned into a bridge that could support 2 full grown horses and 2 full grown men is just to show how ridiculous it is. The first half just felt like a drag and started getting good at who killed johnny joestar.
The one thing I liked about SBR is Diego who was Dio, perfected.
even then araki kinda fucked with that by killing him off and bringing out a version that was just a cartoon mustache twirling villian
Evan Carter
>another one gets filtered by High Voltage
Anthony Wright
it took you long enough to realize user
Ethan Mitchell
You sound american
Jackson Lewis
I feel similarly. It does have some really good stuff in it, like Sugar Mountain, but overall the stands aren't very good and spin is garbage. I'm worried about part 8 now that spin is being reintroduced. Though it's not like it's entering into a part of the story that's actually good. The last several chapters have been pretty downhill.
Michael Nguyen
Reminder that SBR will always be regarded as the best part no matter how much you try to force the "SBR bad" meme.
That's how good SBR is. It's immune to your contrarianism.
Luis Adams
You sound obsessed. Also, why would an American dislike Part 7? That's like a wop nigger disliking Part 5.
Gabriel Young
>Also, why would an American dislike Part 7? All the characters are assholes and the president fucks kids.
Colton Reyes
Are you that same retard that thinks americans hate Gate? We don't care if you make fun of our president, retard. It's basically a national pastime here. Stop projecting your own autistic jingoism onto others.
Lincoln Wood
That doesn't mean that there should be no criticism. Not to mention that the reputation of every part does swing wildly as the anime keeps coming out. Part 5 used to be heavily disliked (and still is by some people) but it's considered the best part by animeonlies and this has changed the reputation of it on Zig Forums as well, to the point where people say it was only disliked because of the bad translation despite that having nothing to do with its actual flaws. And part 4 has a lot of people that dislike it now but that may just be shitposting. Part 6 has gotten more and more disliked as time went on too.
Jaxson Campbell
>SBR is the most liked part in the West >Everyone makes a Trump = Valentine joke once
Eli Harris
I hope the nips will garner enough support for Part 7 by the time the SO anime is finished so we can get SBR animated
Nathan Fisher
Yeah, but the fact that people continue to answer to these anons proves that not everyone noticed this
Michael Stewart
Having the Saint be Jesus was pretty stupid and Araki should've made it completely ambiguous on the identity or just have it be Pucci as a nod to how important DIO's bones were in Stone Ocean
Gavin Cox
AHAHAAHAHAHAHAH
Jayden Morris
>Pucci Good thing you aren't the mangaka.
Nathan Mitchell
Giorno should have also shown up at the end of part 6 right?
