The books are kino and some of the best swords and sorcery released in recent years
It has a cute brown girl.
Is it isekai?
I remember reading these when I was a kid, were pretty comfy fun.
Because the author was heavily inspired by the anime her kids were watching.
It also had a manga adaption.
>Australian book series
>Anime
Why didn't Moot ban this on Zig Forums?
Or is his hatred for Australia a fucking lie.
Based.

The author's children were heavily into 1990s fantasy anime and JRPGs, and she'd often get dragged along into watching said anime and playing said JRPGs with them.
It inspired her to write her own fantasy series inspired by the anime and JRPGs she played and because of this, the books somehow got extremely popular in Japan. She wouldn't have agreed to a cartoon adaption from any other countries (she got offers from France and Canada), but agreed to an anime adaption because she thought her children would get a kick out of it.
It's even got a Nintendo DS game too.
I remember these books and it blew my mind seeing that it got an anime.
Also the books are extremely identical to modern Japanese Light Novels in how they're written and have frequent illustrations, so that's probably why Deltora Quest took off in Japan as well.
This looks really fun, thanks for the recommendation!
anime is for kids
Based. I hope to be just like her someday.
Cute undersells it, that girl is a Goddess.
>Pendragon
Damn good isekai
>Inspired by JRPGs
That explains why it had a bunch of "puzzles".
>Warriors
Was Warriors any good, never read it aand don't really want to know since most of the kids I knew who where obsessed with it ended up being furries.
Diamond, Emerald, Lapis-Lazuli, Topaz, Opal, Ruby, Amethist.
I only read the first series when I was a kid, never got to the other 2. Were they any good?
>still no fucking subs
>Pendragon
Based as AF
>A crappy American book series for kids has an anime series
For me it's Spider Riders
I wouldn't know since I haven't touched a book in 15ish years but it was fun for what it was, a political soap opera spanning many generations with hundreds of characters across four different clans but they're all cats.
Wouldn't recommend getting into it as an adult.
>Pendragon
That series also had a brown waifu for the MC. These YA fantasy authors were pretty fucking based looking back on it
the second series felt like a filler arc. I never read the third
wait there's a Warriors anime?
It's LoGH but with cats
There's also a manga adaptation as well. Kinda wish I could find some rips of it to do a storytime because the idea of dumbing a obvious /lit/ series but still technically being Zig Forums relates seems like a good laugh.

52 out of 65 subbed so far.
I just remembered this series not too long ago, I was surprised and disappointed it had an anime too
