So how realistic are the muv luv suits...

So how realistic are the muv luv suits? Is this something that real world militaries might actually use if they started conscripting women to be mecha pilots?

Wrong board, friendo.

really, so where do you go to discuss the realism of an anime/manga?

Muv-Luv goes on /m/ or /jp/

>Literally explained in the source material it is used to make male and female pilots used to seeing each other naked so it isn't weird when they have to shower together.
Ugh, this is why I hate secondaries

Wrong bo...

Extremely unrealistic and higher-ups would never allow it.

(You) go on /lgbt/ or /y/

So not realistic at all then. Thanks.

BOOBA

The concept was directly lifted from starship troopers but please, continue.

It's not a cheap excuse for fanservice but a legitimate element of the story.

Idiot.

the question was whether real world militaries would do the same thing

>The concept was directly lifted from starship troopers but please, continue.
I mean the question was "would this work in the real world" so you're still answering his question here by saying it was inspired by a fictional book did it

in the book at least, they never showered together, and the female crew members on a starship were specifically seperated in their own barracks which were guarded by troopers.

Any real military with the same objective would put recruits in unisex jumpers like convicts and equip them with real armor once they've achieved the intended psychological conditioning.

On the other hand, the Muv-Luv suits are actually not al that far away from the future for space suits: Compression suits are a lot more reliable than pressurized ones, and they would actually be skin tight with boxed out joints and extremities (wherever tension cannot be maintained normally.)

hot

>It's not a cheap excuse for fanservice
Of course it was, you dingus. It has other narrative purposes in order to justify it, sure, but those exist after the fact.

Wanna know how you get people to be comfortable showering naked together? You fucking make those fucking boots shower naked together or else they do extra laps.

>It's not a cheap excuse for fanservice
I don't hate Muv-Luv, but shit like this is why I hate die-hard Muv-Luvfags.

i remember reading an interview from a female movie actress about starring nude in films. she said something about how showing the breasts was fine but the pussy was not, adding that it was a "girl thing".
