Revenge boner and Subtle inferiority complex. After that got somewhat resolved it was just about going further and realizing himself, which translated in wanting to beat Kazuma up.

It makes more sense from a story perspective for Kazuma to finally get an actual victory over him but I like to think Ryuho still won anyway.
