How do you stop constantly alt tabbing while watching anime?
How do you stop constantly alt tabbing while watching anime?
Googling the price of ADHD medication.
RIP, we still miss you.
By having two computer monitors.
do people actually watch on their computers? i have a computer connected to a TV and watch from my bed
get a shittier computer where you have to use different keys to do that very same thing
Force yourself to sit down the whole way through no matter what. Never hit the pause button, and just watch it.
Watch anime that hooks you instead of watching anime just because. Regardless, move to manga.
why would i in the first place?
Funny you say that, I actually don't have that problem with manga at all and can easily read for hours on end without any interruptions.
Ask a friend with ADHD if you can buy some pills.
I built an expensive home theater into my basement to watch anime on a 120" screen with a gigantic sound system and I still play on my phone the entire time and barely watch the actual show while its on
Success just leads to a different sort of suffering and you will never be happy so just take what little enjoyment you get and don't worry about the details
Not being a low iq zero attention span zoomer helps
You don't like anime. You like the idea of liking anime. Get off this board.
Makes sense to me, reading is a more active process and you're more in control of the pace. You can go as fast as you can consume information through text/pictures.
TV meanwhile sets the pace for you, and sets it at a pace that'll probably do well for a general audience, which isn't gonna do well for everyone.
I guess you could try cranking up the playback speed, but that can lead to some of the opposite problems; moments not going on for long enough to seep into your brain.
You could try to get the energy out of your system before watching.
Exercise is the nobrainer here, but you can also artificially exhaust your brain by mimicking the stutterbreath of someone who just ran a mile.
It works on the same principle as ye olde "taking a deep breath to calm yourself down", just flips the method to flip the result. I think it's a formal exercise in Yoga if you want to google up details to try it out "properly".
If you have anything else to calm yourself down, try doing that. I usually love rock music, but it amps me up so much that I can't properly focus on my art and have to ctrl+z and alt-tab constantly. If I put on chill music for a while (or don't listen to music at all) both of that goes completely away. I'm also much more productive in the late hours of the day when I'm half tired (which makes it really tempting to stay up too long).
I hope some of that sounded like it's worth trying out! Good luck!
Thanks user I'll try your suggestions out and hopefully some of it will help.
Not true. I know anons who like it but I find it difficult at times to sit down and watch hours of it when there's only so much time in a day.
Disconnect your internet while you watch
only tab during the OPs
>i have a computer connected to a TV and watch from my bed
same, using a media keyboard too
it's pretty nice
same
i can listen to music and read anime for like 8 hours straight but anime doesn't grip me as much
do people actually do this? I always thought the speedwatcher thing was a meme Zig Forums came up with
I've seen plenty of people who literally watch in 1.5x speed or quicker
Watch better anime
Take your meds
Physically separate yourself from the controls when watching (e.g. sit on a sofa while playing it from your computer few steps away)
This happens to me too. It's sad really. It didn't happen when I was younger. Everything doesn't feel exciting enough anymore
Try a different room of the house. Just the TV and maybe a Rubik's cube or something to fiddle with.
Creative limitation.
Seriously, ditch your cell. Awful habit.
I refuse to believe this
It took me a while to believe it too. You'll eventually run into a retard who casually admits to doing it.
Man yall are feeling burnout on the medium.
Step away from this shit for atleast a month and realize you were just forcing yourself to watch crap for the sake of watching crap. Later you'll actually go back to picking and choosing a series because it seems interesting rather than picking it up to fill in the void.
My bedroom tv is connected with hdmi and my living room tv uses plex.
No need to watch anime in front of your monitor.
Good advice but
>yall
fuck you, you have to go BACK! Your people need you now more, than ever.
I don't watch anime.
