If isekai protagonists are usually gamers then how come I've never read one where they have a heated gaming moment and say the gamer word?

>the gamer word
?

Gaymer

You're not a gamer if you don't know the gamer word. The word gamers use when they get upset.

>word gamers use when they get upset
i fuck ur mom?

Maybe because Japanese gamers don't use the same slang we do?

I'm glad those slit eyes fucks are realizing there's other games you can use as a base for wishfulfillment other than generic dragon quest setting #4783.

I need more strategy games isekai.

Nigger you fucking mongoloid.

And more of other types.

That seems more like an American cuss word than an international term that gamers would unite behind.

No. It's an universal gamer word. Only pussies would think otherwise.

Nah.

RPGs are the way to go. Bunch of genres tend not to have characters or a storyline; you want a fucking flight sim isekai? RPGs are the crux. Just don't stick specifically to Dragon Quest.

I like this one. The light novel is also good. So far it hasn't falling into only nation building. Author seems to be bringing proper threats that the MC has to deal with. Other OP characters are starting to enter story.

Mio being focused on food wasn't a problem, but does anyone but the author care about so much Tsige food developments?

There was a manga about a girl who grew up rich but ended up homeless in the modern day.
She gets to go back in time to avoid her destruction end.
I've been trying to remember the name but I just can't.

Often times when I finish a Dominions 5 game (usually after a month or two) I think to myself "fuck I wish I could write/draw, this could be a cool story".
In fact I think you can have better characters and stories because in a strategy setting MC won't be able to solo everything with his OP stats and he actually has to interact and get the help of others.
Though a roguelike isekai would also be cool.

where is this from?

I mean. Roguelikes are RPGs. Stat screen and dungeon diving.

I don't think so. Honestly the latest raw chapter I couldn't even get through because of how few fucks I give about this ongoing onigiri saga.

By the same author of Freezing. JK Silver redo plan or something like that.

I believe he's making a pewdiepie reference

>F rank collecting herbs quest
Bro.

It's time to stop.

I only briefly check what deepl says is happening to know if there's something interesting when translations get there. If it was Rembrandt or some of Makoto's students eating some food Mio made while in Asora I wouldn't have cared about the topic so much, but I'm not seeing a reason to care about another merchant with a food focus.

So then the new novel by the shield hero author that's getting published roughly translates to:
"I got kicked out the hero’s party, but the hero went away with me. Our ex-companions beg us to return, but its too late"
The reason MC gets kicked out was because the other two people in the party besides the hero think he's dead weight, specially with his useless "Play dead" skill that does exactly what it says. The hero follows MC and leaves the other two companions to fend for themselves.
The reason the hero followed MC is because the skill that was given to her synergizes with his "play dead" skill, giving her a serious boost in magic and physical capabilities: four moves in the time she can do one, single target spells get AoE effect, and more. Otherwise without MC she's just a mediocre fighter. She's very frank about this with MC and while this did slightly lower his evaluation of her he understands not wanting to be useless because he himself felt that way. Also she does know all the things MC did for the party, like identifying items, disarming traps, locating monsters and was also the party's baggage carrier

Idk, that Kinf of Fighter's isekai isn't too bad

Somebody needs that parsley though.

>Also she does know all the things MC did for the party, like identifying items, disarming traps, locating monsters and was also the party's baggage carrier
The "kick out the useless party member only to later realize that they were crucial because of all the logistical support they provided" trope is starting to become too common

>don't tell anybody about this exploit - pretend your friend is useless
>when your other teammates want to get rid of dead weight, don't clear up the misunderstanding - just break up the party
The hero is a dishonest asshole. If all she wanted is a sexy two-some adventuring party, then she could have just been honest about it.

And the hero doesn't want to reveal her reliance on him to others because she's embarrassed or just glory seeking?
This premise is kinda shit to be honest.

can he write anything but revenge fantasy for incels with a persecution complex?

>One side is light and order.
>The other side darkness and chaos.
>Sprinkling of random neutral factions in city states.
>Hints at future technology.
>Lots of pain and suffering.

Is the author a fan of Warhammer by chance?

That's a bit different, since it was being isekai'd from the KoF world into a fantasy RPG though right. Also it's a parody.

you want the Alchemists to gather their own herbs

I mean, it could work with non-RPGs. Youjo Senki is being reincarnated into a World War II shooter. There are a bunch of otome isekai series. And there are other genres that could work.

>Fire Emblem isekai
>Breath of the Wild isekai
>Monster Hunter isekai
>Dishonored isekai
>Viva Pinata isekai

When buying a slave won't do save a carriage with a wealthy person who's extremely generous with their money and their patronage

Alchemists barely exist anyway. You've got warriors, swordsmen, knights, mages, priests and maybe thieves, but rarely do you have alchemists in an isekai series. Forgotten job.

Some of the duties MC was in charge of were some stuff that the other two companions were in charge of doing, like removing curses and deciphering ancient text too. In one chapter both the priest and sage were suffering from traps that could've been disabled by the MC if he was there but by then the party had split and went their separate ways, also the sage thinks deciphering ancient text is for oldfags.

>And the hero doesn't want to reveal her reliance on him to others because she's embarrassed or just glory seeking?
Her Skill relies on having people die to give her a boost in power so if she had revealed something like this when she graduated and started out she'd most likely be ostracized and isolated. She wasn't anything special when she started out either.

Genderbender SoLs

fun fact. bad in middle ages the female has worn long silk clothes since everyone was capable to see their naked body under it.

Alchemists put up quests in the D-S range.
F rank herbs are literally just condiments.

New Alchemists can't be trusted to make healing potions so have them make Mint Sauce or something

it's hard to write a good alchemist, it ends up just being a witcher aka woyor but with stims that are too hardcore for your average peasant

As a guard, my first instinct would be that the money must be stolen since the suspicious figure can't even identify themself. So I'd confiscate the money as part of my duty, and send the hoodlum back into the wilds.

and if they fight you it just makes them more suspicious and everyone will be on your side

Yeah. Why bother growing herbs in a herb garden when you could just send adventurers to their deaths picking your rosemary for you? You know how much an allotment would cost? Insane prices these days. Better to go with the mountain of adventurer corpses every time.
