Let's discuss the manga Fire Punch
Let's discuss the manga Fire Punch
So what was it really about?
whats there to discuss, whats there to say about a dumpsterfire type of story
All I will say is Kino.
Zig Forums is too retarded to understand a story that literally spells its purpose out for you
Zig Forums is just /v2/ nowadays, that's what I learned from FP and threads like these
You didn't understand Fire Punch if you preferred the first half to the second half.
This
Ignoring memes does anyone actually like it
punching fire
>it's good so i must hate it
Why fags are always like that
Sure. Fuji's stories have a manic energy to them that I really dig.
I think it's great, don't care about the memes. Fujimoto is a really skilled writer, but he isn't perfect by any means. I like his autistic focus on a singular theme.
yes
I love it.
Yes? It has so many amazing moments.
It was great. It had better art, a more interesting story, and overall 10x more memorable than ChinsowMan
First half got completely derailed by Togata
Not really. Without her the second half wouldn't work.
This fight was kino
Fujimoto ripping off this scene and doing it in CSM was super lame and cringe
Fisting flames
Yeah, someone should tell the Fire Punch mangaka that Fujimoto stole from it.
I considered sending an email to shueisha about it.
fucking moron
She was annoying but not a useless character.
Don't worry Fujimoto's already tipped off Fujimoto about it so I expect Fujimoto will be emailing Fujimoto a complaint very soon.
What will Fuji's little sister think about this act plagiarizing by Fujimoto?
Does Chainsaw Man even compare? read up to 70 today and the only kino moment was when they get trapped in hell
If you're a dipshit who only looks for le epic kino moments, no. It has the same writing quality as FP, in my opinion at least. FP centers itself around identity, CSM about becoming an adult.
they're both the same amount of kino and a bit flawed, first part lacked until togata and san at the end was kinda meh, still a 10/10 manga
it feels like i'm reading a retarded battle shonen manga, and power is insufferable
Because it is a battle shonen manga. But it's still more cohesive and focused than most others.
Drop it if you don't like it, it's clearly flying over your head. Stick to something more "kino" or whatever Zig Forums meme you like to regurgitate.
I read it just to see the face because I thought that it was actually supposed to be "kino" when the face appeared. I ended up liking the manga a lot although the face ended up being a let-down because I thought it'd be more "kino" as autists on here called it.
>all suffering is almost empirically equal, yet verified time and time again to be felt to be unequal
>changing sufficiently results in a definite death of a being
>the universe is unforgiving and sharing experiences with others is among the most important ways to prevent loss of perceived value in life
>society exists on the level of the individual and base emotions more than we care to admit
>society can obliterate a sense of self
>a person is fundamentally unable to change certain aspects of human nature and the course of the natural laws of the universe, but may try anyway
>sometimes, the only way to enjoy life is to live despite all forms of reason
>there is genuine good in people and are good people in the world as well as genuinely evil, and all those inbetween
So many themes, could go all day
Togeta's hilarious dickery is what kept me around the first half so I can witness the really intense and wild Agni moments in the second half
