End of Evangelion is the most overrated superficial piece of trash. Every one of you who watched it and thought you were looking at something deep and meaningful are suckers. The story was stupid, the action scenes sucked, and the entire psuedo intellectual spiritual themes were of a japanese guy who just took christian symbols he thought looked cool and slapped it everywhere. For all that praise of how good the animation is? Congratulations, you discovered rotoscoping is a thing. Movies like Akira, Ninja Scroll, and Roujin Z stand far above this garbage.

Just because the inclusion of chirstian iconography was decided based on the fact that it looks cool, doesn't mean that it's meaningless. Even if it was meaningless (which once again it isn't), that doesn't mean that the entire movie is meaningless. I mean fuck what a retarded stance to take.
