How good would you say Koga's fights are?
They had a nice flow in my opinion, I liked how Koga is usually at the disadvantage in most of them.
Kengan Omega/Asura
Will Koga ever be a real character again?
>waaah waah koga waah!
JULIUS
So have we seen enough fights to agree that Keng > Purg when it comes to actual combat ability?
>Gaolang vs Carlos
Carlos gets a cheap technical and leaves on a stretcher
>Rihito vs Falcon
Falcon eeks out a victory with a ton of help from his poison toes, will be probably be weaker than Rihito in about a week.
>Julius vs Toa
Toa was pretty strong desu, but Julius whipped out an attack that can't be blocked, redirected, or parried. He was just on a different level.
>lil' fang vs Monke
yikes.
I'm going to guess that the strongest is just going to be Alan Wu, since he's non-purg.
Koga has the most "Asura" fights on Omega. I'm a little disappointed with this manga.
I'm cautiously optimistic for Arashiyama and Nicolas, I'd like it if Raian is matched up with one of them instead of Alan. Probably won't happen though.
The only fight that I felt the Ashura energy was Rihito vs Falcon.
>ha ha big muscles hit hard
Julius sucks
purgatory needs a decisive win in the next round badly. I don't know what sandwich was thinking making them look so weak so far.
trash, just like every other fight in this god forsaken sequel
naidan was kicking the shit out of ryuki and toying with him before he triggered ryuki's ultra boyfriend instinct.
He was still toying with him before Ryuki went on a streak of sudden attacks
theyre just filler. like bakis current sumo challenge its just there to hype current characters or show their development while answering some questions about future plotlines
Gonna be honest with you. Ryuki vs anybody was the fight i was least excited for. And I think Naidan was wasted.
So I finished reading Ashura of couple of weeks ago, loved the ending. Just started reading Omega and I'm not still up to date but... what the fuck happened around chapter 55?! Why the fuck did they feel like they had to bring back Ohma from the dead and sideline Koga? I lived him way more as a MC since you could see him grow, did the Japs hate him so much that they forced the writer to bring Ohma back?
Too much ohmawank and bc they circlejerk and vukkake on Ohma and his tight nutty bussy
Because the author realized that his main character this time around isn't strong enough to hang around with the type of fights he wants to write. The only way would be to massively powerup Koga in a short amount of time but it wouldn't be satisfying enough, so Ohma came back to fill the gap
I'm honestly okay with it just because I was starting to like Ohma as a character only so close to the end of Ashura. Would like to see more of his new personality stick around
I'm more pissed about fucking Ryo still not getting a good fight since losing to Kaneda
>hat his main character this time around isn't strong enough to hang around with the type of fights
All he had to do is have the tournament "start" 1-2 years after instead of 6 months to give Koga time to build up. So not sure, it feels like a popularity matter.
Maybe but even that might have been pretty unsatisfying too, having a time skip that early in the manga before anything really happens
Sandwich has always had a problem with
Writer's Remorse. Remember he set up the Kengan matches to regularly end in death. And it ends up being a shitshow where everyone that is "supposed to die"(Sekibayashi, Mokichi, Setsuna, Nikaido, Hanafusa, Bando) simply doesn't. And the two that DID die, came back. one via a retcon (Ohma), and one via cloning shenanigans. He even brought back hassard, and the guy beat him up after Setsuna beat him up.
Overall, yes, Ohma coming back hurt the story in the long run. Why? because Ohma's story was basically over. He never gave a shit about the Japanese Illuminati/Assassins/Global Conspiracy Worm stuff. He just wanted closure over Niko's death, and he gets that, not only that, but he conquered his fatalist childhood.
And now he's been force fed into the main story, and Kazy devolved.
He'll turn out to be the real Omega later on in the story after going through some kind of training or power up, not Gaoh Ryuki
>So have we seen enough fights
No, we still have the big four. Them being Agito/Ohma level will make up for purg.
>So have we seen enough fights to agree that Keng > Purg when it comes to actual combat ability?
This was always obvious if you also consider all the other characters involved in the KA that don't actually participate in their tournament matches.
That's the big thing, like the score between kengan and purg is already tied before we've seen the actual big dogs from the kengan side. There is still:
>Ohma
>Agito
>Raian being serious
>Wakatsuki
>Akoya
If Purgatory can even go 2-3 against these, that's not bad at all
by "all the other characters", I mean all the other people that can fight that don't bother to enter the Kengan tournament, even the ones that specialize in using weapons
>because Ohma's story was basically over
As much as I came to like him Ohma was a really terrible MC because I'M JUST STRONG LOL. All the other characters carried Ashura, and I was really happy to see him get his closure with the old story so we could focus on someone else. Koga was cool... Fucking Sandwich.
>Sharkteeth CEO calls Mugamba (Muzinga? Forgot how the nigga rapeman is called)
>Julius shows up instead to represent her
Okay Sandwich, just... Just stop.
>Akoya
Isn't he death-flagged? I thought Tokuno was the bigger deal.
Well, Ohma wasn't supposed to grow. Kazy was the one that was supposed to improve as human being, the story was basically about him not being stepped on anymore. And to be honest how much stronger is he gonna get in the span of 3 days?
Greatest martial arts prodigy in the world
They are both pretty strong but of the characters likely to get cucked in a match to give purg a win to keep it until 13 matches, I'd put my money on Tokuno.
