What's the future like, do we survive the king flu?

>O MY I ACTUALLY TURN GAY AT THE VERY LAST SECOND
>O MY HEROINE TOTALLY GETS A GOOD BF FOR HER LIFE AFTER THE STORY HERES A SHITTY SKETCH TRUST ME BRO
Fuck this manga

At least one person got a Touma husband.

There should be a manga about two dudes and their Grindr tales. If you are going homo might as well go full homo and make the most of the unique situation.

This. Taichi was a raging bumdrilling boykissing faggot from day one, but with Touma going "well guss I am homo now" just came out of nowhere.

And the lesbian turned hetero. Kek.
What a clownery

>there are still brainlets who think taichi is straight

>Taichi was a raging bumdrilling boykissing faggot from day one
Correct
>Touma going "well guss I am homo now" just came out of nowhere.
user even if you missed his eyefucking Taichi in chapter 1 did you not read chapter 5?

What is it that makes Touma's underdeveloped win so much better than of any big titty shy shounen girl?

Because Touma is actually a worthy prize to win.

hindsight is 20/20

He was best boi, which is more than most love interests can match.

The fact that it was the endpoint of Taichi's character development. Ao no Flag is the story of how Taichi went from a beaten-down sadface afraid of taking risks and offending people to someone with the courage to chase his dreams.

Touma winning wasn't the point of the story. The point was how TAICHI changed from a dude who would be too intimidated to try the gay route, to a dude who's chad enough to proudly hold hands with another man in the middle of a crowded street.

>that file name
I'm currently rereading this for the first time and noticing small details, dialogues, and themes building up to the ending is really fun.
I just noticed how everyone becomes more attractive when seen by the person who likes them.
Also, the humor is great.

Best reply I've seen to shit like in a while, thank you user.

I can sort of see why some people think the ending came out of nowhere, but reading the entire thing and never questioning Taichi's preferences even ONCE says a lot about your reading comprehension.

I don't think it came out of nowhere
but I do think the time skip to it was a few chapters too sudden

Obviously; I would never cuck Misaka!

>and noticing small details, dialogues, and themes building up to the ending is really fun.
I'd love to hear about some of that shit user, the manga's detail autism is a goldmine that doesn't get probed enough.

I would have loved more of the whole thing too, but the ending itself is constructed in a way that would not have been possible without the element of surprise. And I really love it the way it is.

I don't like the surprise end as a device but is correct in that it's how the story was constructed. There's also the question of whether the mag was willing to have a long gay arc for its protagonist, it was still a jump label after all.

Ao no Fag was a nice story about teenagers doing stupid teenager things and Taichi growing up and actually being able to express his feelings.

Also the meltdown threads were fun.

I'll have to finish rereading it to see whether it still seems sudden when read as a whole, but maybe he could have given more buildup to the pre-timeskip ending at the beach. If I remember it right, Taichi went from getting bullied at school to deciding to see Touma in only 2-3 chapters.

>I'm currently rereading this for the first time and noticing small details, dialogues, and themes building up to the ending is really fun
This. This is one of those stories that deserve a second read to fully appreciate it. Kaito did a great job, fuck the haters.

>And the lesbian turned hetero. Kek.
Uh user, her married lover is a girl too.

>is a girl
Of course the fans of this shit manga are all retarded.

She's bi. There's no tr*nny in this pure and wholesome story.

Reminds me of the VN Coming out on top

If you think Touma was gay our of nowhere, you just have zero ability to read subtext, people were calling that shit since almost ch 1

The only copefags are the ones happy with the outcome of this story. The main couple never developed any actual relationship, every hint about Taicihi being interested in Touma is seen as lust and jealousy. This is just a part of an actual development for a character who would transform those flaws and would be able to recognize love towards his best male friend. Every single panel that you call hint is just lust and your brain is so molded that you equal lust with love. Even worse you celebrate the lack of a proper romantic development like it was made by a mastermind while is just laziness or a cowardice to show two men acknowledging true love.

Why people call tranny to her husband? She obviously was attracted to a type of person and not a gender.

I'm still not sure if that post is satirizing the usual outofnowhereposting, or if he just mixed up their names.
