how much will link go to when staking is announced

>dense futuristic cyberpunk cities will never be compatible with a conservative Christian population
>they will always be a cesspit of degeneracy and subhumans
Why live

How would staking work? Explain this to me like I'm a 3rd grader

Staking = inflation

I absolutely hated living downtown.
>homeless approach you every day for money
>bars filled with degeneracy and roasties
>2000 a month for a shitty apartment

Idk what growing up in a dense place like that would do to my psyche, I'd definitely be a different person that's for sure.

I feel like if you live in a place like that it's got to be hard feeling almost as if though you're another number. I may be another number but at least I don't have to feel like it

Basically you lock up your linkies so that you can't sell them, then in return the Smart Contract company sends you free linkies from their 650 million linkie fund as a reward for not selling. It's kind of like a ponzi scheme but more complex so normies won't catch on until it's too late.

Where would I put my link exactly? Coinbase staking does it automatically

It means you get free linkies just for holding linkies. Think of it like interest on your stack.

>bars filled with degeneracy and roasties
sounds horrible lmao

What happens when all the supply is circulating and there is no more link to be given from interests? Will they just create more?

That's called "The Singularity" and it means Chainlink will instantly go to zero. So it's sort of a game of musical chairs until that happens.

fees from people using the oracles, just like btc or eth transaction fees which go to miners

Christianity is a meme, convert to Islam

Yes, this happened recently with Crypto.com's MCO token. The supply was finally all locked up and Crypto.com would have had to purchase tokens which would create upwards price motion, but instead they just swapped it for a coin with a higher supply. All projects eventually do this. Another one did it a month ago. Its pretty common.

But think of the food bro
Think of the hustle and the bustle

Stop lying to this kind user

Oracle nodes provide data for the resolution of smart contracts. The people who signed the smart contract pay the oracle nodes in chainlink.
To make sure the data provided are accurate, nodes must hold link as collateral. If they provide false informations, they lose their link. The more value the contract have, the more link will be paid and the bigger the collateral needs to be.

That's where you play your part. You are lending them your linkies to use as collateral, and they pay you with a fraction of the linkies they get paid with.
The catch of course is that not only your linkies are blocked during stacking, but they are collateral. If the Oracle provide false informations, you will lose your linkies.

This. I had to live downtown in philly for school and I fucking hated it. It felt suffocating because there was no escape to anything. Want to get out of your overpriced shithole apartment? Your options are to wonder around the city blocks and get harassed by niggers and beggars, or go to one of the several community parks which are clogged full of people doing the exact same thing. No space to yourself. Even staying cooped up in your apartment, there's all the fucking noise literally 24/7. And let's not even discuss the inconvenience of not having a car and needing to use shit tier public transportation. Oh sure, fine when you just need to go somewhere and back, but the logistics get a lot tougher if you actually want to DO something, or transport something, etc.

And all this for what? The expensive rent, expensive groceries, expensive transportation, fuck-me-in-the-ass-tier city taxes? What's it all for? The goddamn sandnigger halaal cart? The hipster ethnic fusion restaurant? Fuck off with that shit, cunts. I cooked my own food 99.9% of the time because I'm trying to not be completely broke.

Is LINK really a good buy right now

Buy and find out ;)

DUDE i just LOVE the hustle and bustle of the big city, it’s so DYNAMIC and makes me feel like i’m in one of my favorite TV SHOWS. you should totally come on down to my studio apartment, it’s got EXPOSED RED BRICK walls and everything, we can crack open a nice hoppy ipa or three and get crazy watching some cartoons on adult swim! and dude, dude, DUDE, we have GOTTA go down to the barcade- listen here, right, it’s a BAR where us ADULTS who do ADULTING can go DRINK. BUT!!!! it’s also an ARCADE like when we were kids, so we can play awesome VIDEO GAMES, without dumb kids bothering us. speaking of which megan and i have finally decided to tie the knot- literally -we’re both getting snipped tomorrow at the hospital, that way we can save money to spent more on ourselves and our FURBABIES. i’m fuckin JACKED man, i’m gonna SLAM this craft beer and pop open another one!!

lmao staking just reveals that there was no demand for the mainnet; In short its never happening so stop asking.

LOL Can someone please just tell me how high LINK could hit, realisitically

so you didn't like the city because you were (and probably still are) poor, got it.

Fuck no

based. fuck city slicker yuppies. men are one with mother nature.

Which also means that link holders will most likely only use trusted oracles. And the trusted oracles Will be able to get away with giving away lower return rates.

How does 81,000 sound

No fucking shit, I was in grad school. Even so, please explain to me how being rich in a city solves the space, noise, overcrowding, nigger, and transportation issues. The only difference being rich would make is a bigger prison to wallow in while being cooped up in an urban hellhole

I don't know what realistic mean but what about 20 million dollars per link?

LOL STOP

I just want to know, stop playing goofy games

Like 100 per coin?
