BTC whale here. Can you explain why anyone would want to hoard Chainlink?

BTC whale here. Can you explain why anyone would want to hoard Chainlink?

With BTC it's simple: Unconfiscatable, immutable digital gold with 10+ years of uptime and 0 hacks. Limited supply.

Now, what the fuck is the deal with Chainlink? why would anyone want to hoard it expecting an higher price? Does it have limited shares to 1.000.000.000 units (as im seeing on Coinmarketcap). It doesn't have an inflation rate like ETH? What stops the assorted Vitalik Butterin CEO of the altcoin to split the shares, infltae the total supply and whatnot?

Why would something that has to do with smart contracts (im not even sure what it does) benefit from a limited supply and a model similar to BTC where you are supposed to hoard it (hard money)?

There isn't a single crypto other than BTC that makes sense, at least not from the POV of buying and holding it expecting higher prices that can actually be sustained long term. The rest is a clusterfuck.

no one spoonfeed the bitboomer, please.

What the fuck does BTC do anyways?

priceless

>t. dumb zoomer holding bags

OP have you heard of Tether

Be decentralized and immutable, unlike altcoins?

Plenty of altcoins are decentralized and immutable.

So chainlink is a tether job?

when i bought 5k chainlink in 2017, it was worth 0.1 BTC. now it's worth about 6 BTC.

so who is really holding bags here :^) stay poor

There's no use case for BTC. Once hailed as P2P money, that fell to shits and maxis needed a way to keep this scam going and remarketed as store of value. BTC is the ultimate shitcoin scam.

Pay us in BTC, and when it arrives, you get responses.

Take care of the krill dude.

>6BTC
so you are poor

>I don't understand the use case so there's no use case

Name one?

Still surprised an alt PoW hasn't replaced BTC. BTC is so broken economically, holy shit.

You might hurt OPs feelings

>0 hacks
1 hack, actually. Had to fork the entire blockchain to avoid it.

> immutable
lol

i'd rather be poor and making it than a retarded btc maximalist :^) glad people like you are priced out.

Actually now that I think of it, I should've said 'altcoin'. Monero's the only relevant crypto that comes to mind and isn't also POS

Link holder since $0.8 here. No one gives a shit about muh fundamentals. And Chainlink is a piece of shit btw but it's going to keep pumping. Literally no one on this board has read the whitepaper and it doesn't even fucking matter. When trend reversal happen, everyone will take their gains and the door. And we'll be hard at work farming the next x100 while you keep LE HODLING your shitty sats. kys

>2013 BTC Chad
>"priced out!"

>XMR
Not decentralized.

if you want to buy in, just know you're pumping my bags i grabbed at .40c! hope that's okay with you! :^)

>I won at the shitcoin casino so this means it's a viable technique
You are poor and stupid.

Why does no one like my shitcoin any more , chad here!11!!

I don't buy shitcoins.

2 iq

>Not decentralized.
How? It seems more decentralized than Satoshi holding 1,000,000 BTC.

cool, stay poor and good luck with your LARP thread!

To make Sergay who owns 65% of all tokens richer! Why else lmao. The token isn't even needed as much as it cost and iExec do the same, in better, and with a core team of 6PhD

>bitcoin maxi
>"Why would something that has to do with smart contracts (im not even sure what it does)"
checks out

because smart contracts are the future of agreements digital or otherwise (check out RGB smart contracts being built on bitcoin) but currently blockchains can't interact with data to settle contractual agreements in a decentralized way, hence ethereum smart contracts being basically limited to moving tokens around. Link is the token of a decentralized oracle network that makes smart contracts able to interact with real world data, and will appreciate in value with use of the network as it's needed to collateralize contracts

Monero then. Not Btc.
Because Monero is Btc with 100% anonymity
