Funny. I liked S1 but it was S2 that got me hooked. I haven't seen a show that gave such attention to side characters before or since. I want to see that happening more often.

Season 1 is a masterpiece.
Season 2 still a lot of 10/10 episodes, overall 8/10
Ending is trash and Harima should've fucked Eri.

In the manga, the characters drink beer all the time, including Tenma. In the anime, they drink juice.

In the scene where Harima is broken and goes to the older woman's house, he's supposed to get drunk and start sobbing out his story. In the anime, he drinks orange juice, but for some reason that also makes him drunk and makes him tell his story.

Also the panel in pic related did not happen in the anime.

A failure of good ideas.
With a cast like that I expected a love dodecahedron, instead there's just a triangle, a few "fuck already damn it" and the humor is rather low overall. It rely on nonsense that's supposed to be funny but feel like a cheap way to not have to write a coherent script.

On the up side, it did have the best tsundere I've seen since forever.
A tsundere who isn't a bipolar mess, have actual reason to be prudent, and actually does make step forward in her own prudent way.

Watched this recently and didn't get the hate for the pie fight ending. I can understand hating the overall Karasuma-kun dramafest that was the last arc and Harima not getting with anybody unless you count the spinoff, but the reunion and pie fight at the very end seemed pretty in line with the show to me

Back when romantic comedies were actually comedies and not about DRAMA.
