Shit Zig Forums tricked you into reading or watching
I'll start with this shit heap
Shit Zig Forums tricked you into reading or watching
Imagine being such a tool to ask anime/manga recommendations
Beastars' first half is amazing, but its second half ruins the whole series. However, it's not fair to say that Zig Forumsnon's recommending it was a trick, because it was legitimately good at the beginning
What happened? Last time I checked everyone was raving about this manga, now everyone complains about it. Was it a Soma style downturn? What changed?
>What changed?
The anime happen after that was shitposting hell "is this manga for furries?"
Evangelion
what, you didnt like the part where the rabbit nearly gets raped by a lion?
Oh, so the manga is fine? It’s just threads ruined by anime peeps?
Not the same user but no it literally turned to shit. The author gave us cool tidbits into the world but discarded them, they added a edgy unfunny version of the Joker as the main antagonist, a jojo stand, and it jumped the shark too many times for anyone to even count
>is fine
Kinda no
Second half went downhill with the author not knowing what to pursue. She introduced a bunch of worldbuilding concepts but never settled on anything and it became a jumbled mess ending abruptly like a lot manga past their prime pushed on by editors to capitalize on popularity.
Rental girlfriend or whatever. Dear god what a fucking waste of ink that shit was
it;s good/great for about 3/4 and the last 1/4 has some gem chapters but is mostly meh.
i'd still recommend it desu, it's pretty fun to read.
Never, EVER, trust furfaggots to recommend you anything.
>Oh, so the manga is fine?
Threads got ruined by the anime, but the manga went downhill too. At least the author ended the manga before it got worse.
The classic wolf guy
author had no idea what the plot was supposed to be so it pretty much became nothing beyond "we need to take out this guy who will destroy all society, somehow" which fundamentally didn't work because his motivations changed every two months, and she flailed around introducing a bunch of random concepts to try and make that pursuit interesting and very little of it actually went anywhere without being dropped outright.
>A jojo stand
Wait? It’s got magic powers and shit? I thought it was a series about animals living kinda like humans, but with animal instincts
you need to be a furry first to enjoy furry stuff.
It introduced jojo stands for like one chapter and then just as quickly abandoned the concept the next chapter and so on, just to give you an idea of the writing in the last half of the manga.
I would say Beastars probably gets shit around the time they introduce Melon. There are some good ideas sometimes thrown around in there but I have no idea how the writing got so bad. People complain the manga ended too suddenly but honestly I'm glad Paru just decided to end it, it became a decaying corpse by that point.
Shows up in like two chapters and is promptly ignored for the rest of the run
mega kek
No such thing as being tricked into watching or reading something especially by strangers over the internet that have no way of forcing you to do something against your will
Same here. It ruined my day.
The manga takes a decline towards the end cause Pary just couldn’t pick a direction and stick with it. New shit kept being thrown in and all the established characters people liked were thrown to the wayside.
If Melon had just stayed as what he was introduced as he would have been fine. She just kept tacking on more and more shit to him.
You know, I didn't mind Beastars continuing past the killer plotline. It was fun seeing Legosi adjust to living on his own, even if it had the unfortunate side effect of making all the student characters irrelevant.
But then Melon got introduced and the manga fell into an unrecoverable downward spiral.
Is this just shitposting? Or people really did not understand it?
>But then Melon got introduced and the manga fell into an unrecoverable downward spiral.
Melon is the reason the manga got popular
Hunter x Hunter and Kino's Journey
>People complain the manga ended too suddenly but honestly I'm glad Paru just decided to end it, it became a decaying corpse by that point.
Just wait for the sequel
>It introduced jojo stands for like one chapter and then just as quickly abandoned the concept the next chapter
But that never happen
