No, the anime compared to the manga.
In the manga, all the students drank beer including Tenma. In the anime, they all drink juice. When Harima goes to the Nurse's house in the manga, mentally broken, he's meant to get drunk from beer and start telling his story. In the anime, he's drinking orange juice, but still gets drunk for some reason.
