I always hated how they made Noa look in the second and third Patlabor movie. Same with what they did to her personality. The first Patlabor movie is the only decent one since it didn’t butcher her design or character. The TV series version of her will always be the best as far as I’m concerned.

Shaft just uses the style the mangaka uses. Generally. Monogatari was a LN so they had more interpretation there. But Hidamari Sketch's art style is great and you're a faggot.

If we're not counting intentionally ugly artstyles like those present in Itagaki's and FKMT's works, then Death Parade and House of Five Leaves are the only times I've been genuinely bothered from start to finish by how shit the characters look.

Okay. I think HXH generally looks terrible even when Togashi is drawing better than a 3 year old. Especially when he's been introducing characters left and right in the recent arc they usually look like shit.

One Piece. Its artstyle is literally disgust me. I can't understand how could it be appealing for people above the age of 12.

I prefer 80's and 90's anime overall, but some of the stuff they released in the late 90's was downright atrocious.
