Nice art but it fails to be engaging when they are talking.
Bakemonogatari's conversations were long but they were kept interesting with constant change in visuals.
When you translate that into manga, it translates to walls of text.

Honestly, I dropped the series after I found out MC chooses worst girl, especially with how hard cat girl wanted his dick and was willing to do just about anything for him. It was Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai all over again. An MC can only be so dumb before it becomes unreadable.

I think a takeaway from the series is that you shouldn't get into relationships with girls like that, you know, because they can flame out pretty hard. At least Senjou seems the least crazy of the living girls, except for Karen, who is best girl.

All women are crazy, few are loyal and devoted. A devoted girl will at least attempt to keep her spaghetti in her skirt while a bitch won't even try.
Senjou threatens to stab MC multiple times just for looking at other girls and demeans him as a human being all through the series. Tsubasa swallows her feelings and pride just to help MC not to mention putting her life on the line for him over and over again. Also, all her troubles with the Cat are a direct result of being abused and unloved, if MC had shown her half the love and devotion she showed him it wouldn't have been a problem.

Crab and Bat are worse in the manga than they are in the anime
Every other character including Koyomi himself is better in the manga than they are in the anime (mainly since the anime handles them pretty badly usually)

Yeah, like her or not she and Bat are by far the two characters talked about the most and always the two most popular characters in any large polls. Shaft knows it to, when it comes to cutting scenes out (not hating on them here, I understand that it's not possible to adapt everything) Crab's the least hit character followed by Bat (who was mainly just hit hard by the Mayoi Jiangshi cuts and Kizu being delayed).
