The Earth of Dragon Ball is already pretty much in peace, and any time it isn't, Goku deals with it. And by the point where even Goku can't handle it easily, the villains were strong enough that even the Dragon couldn't deal with it.

Yes, he wants to fight, but he NEVER wants to fight to the death. He just wants a serious fight, which is why he was completely satisfied with any of the tournaments he did when he was younger.

Because there already is world peace. Entire planet is owned by one government that seems more or less benevolent.

Every series that has “wishes” has similar problems to this: it's a stupid mechanic.

He can't fulfill wishes that are beyond the power of the person who created him.

They actually pretty much did at the end of the series though. One of the last wish they make is for only the good people of earth to come back, after the entire planet is destroyed. Or maybe it was all the planets that Kid Buu destroyed.

Anyway, taking only Z into account, the world is at peace for the rest of the series, so it worked as far as we know. Actually, even taking Super into account, none of the threats or bad guys in Super were people that got killed on Earth as far as I know, so the wish's effects are still being felt.

just think. Everytime they wish back a planet there are hundreds if not thousands that were happier dead.

I guess a world peace wish would work against every villain who has a powerlevel below 9000 (or other arbitrary number) but stronger villains would be unaffected.

If they just wished for Earth to be invisible they could have saved so much time.
