Horrendously forced outside of Daisuke and Ken. Miyako and Hikari's "development" is incredibly ridiculous in episode 31 with their SLAPS and Iori and Takeru's is jammed in just to satisfy giving all six kids a Jogress evolution.

Just as much of an asspull as Apocalymon was in Adventure. The way Belial's delusions were defeated was possibly the worst part of 02. Not even the much derided epilogue was as bad as "DAISUKE TO THE RESCUE!!!!"
