Absolute kino is what you watched
Missed the point is what you watched
> Man's toxins trump natural evolution
Simple, it's a beta, lite version of what happened to the Chimera Ant King.
What was the point?
There are no monsters. Just creatures trying to survive.
it's from the 80s, what did you expect?
Humans were never in danger, cuz they are the titular parasites
Parasyte - the maxim
What exactly was the maxim, anyway?
One of the shittiest endings I've ever seen. Brought this down from like an 8 to a 6.
Forgettable characters
the anime was very cringe because it went with the current modern style instead of the old one like in the manga things just didn't fit with one another and the OP was garbage
i didnt even know there was an anime until after i watched the live action movies which i thought were good
A manga that's written in the late 80s/early 90s that is also chockfull of themes from that era.
Always a retard that only retains a black and white stance from a manga's message
I'm on episode 9 or 10 right now. The dialogue is corny as fuck. I can't help but laugh at how over the top the character interactions are. Shinichi literally screams at people when he's standing a foot away from them.
Man I love this manga and anime. I read the entire thing in a weekend when I first found it. I really like it and it's probably one of my favorite manga/anime.
There were really only a few things in the manga that didn't get included in the anime that I wish were, otherwise it was a really faithful adaptation. In the manga Shinichi wore way more shirts, they were interesting and had edgy words written on them. The anime substituted them for a single hoodie that said "philosphia".
There were also a few scenes in the manga that directly compared shinichi to a predator, particularly after the arc with his mother. This wasn't included in the anime, but it was pretty minor so it's not a huge loss.
Overall I think the anime was fantastic, I still think about it occasionally even though I haven't seen it in many years
Has some really good tracks on the OST, if you get get past the 2010's dubstep that have literal
>d-d-d-d-drop the b-b-b-aassssss
in them.
He's afraid of not being human anymore please andastahnd.
Preggo parasite was the best part of the show. Everything after she dies is pointless.
True, I read the manga first (which was superior) and the part where Shinichi realizes he was still human made me tear up.
became a shitshow after his mother's death, very lackluster final arc and ending. also boring characters and poorly handling of the nature of the parasites. we didn't even get a lore dump on them
It was kino but the anime ending was pretty weirdly executed.
Great soundtrack, was a good ride, re-watch value 0. Because at the end of the show Shinichi won twice through convenient asspulls, first against whatever his name was and then when Migi conveniently asspulls himself out to save the girl. Technically the entire premise of the show is a giant asspull since the protagonist never achieves anything through his own ability or any of his own personal qualities. It's all the parasytes
Some old titty magazine you fucking zoomer
It was the sams shit in the manga
Why did migi even go away in the first place. Shinichi went back to being a pussy right after too
>anons missing the point about endangered species and how we shouldn't give two shits about them
