All criticism/hate for this show always amounts to either

I have yet to find a legit criticism for the series which really proves anyone who thinks this show is overrated is nothing but an idiot.

I like it, but I don't understand how u nerds jack off to it all the time, didn't really seem like some holy grail of anime or time-related stories. It kinda seems like the FMA mentality where it's praised for how little it gets wrong while not doing anything too ground breaking itself.

I'm a huge fan of the show but even I will concede that there are many ways it could be even better, like delivering the Mayuri twist earlier, adapting the different routes of the VN in a way that doesn't interfere with the pacing of the 2nd half, and giving that piece of shit Faris less screen time.

Yes, how is that not groundbreaking? It is irrefutably the best anime ending out there, even better than Code Geass.

For me, it's pretty boring in terms of story and characters. I didn't like music and its vibe in general.
