Yes, around the limitations of the format it was good. I just wish we would have gotten more setup, but it was actually well done.

Old Ai looks ugly as hell, the anime design is a massive improvement.

Basically what said, wish we got to see more of Shizuku's "different" side across the show leading up to this episode but the episode pulled it off just fine. Honestly a weaker version of Kanata's episode imo. The song was great, though.

I liked it - I would put it in the higher middle if I were ranking all the episodes but not at the top because it would have benefitted greatly from being a two-part episode or having more buildup in previous episodes.

I really liked her episode. I think that it kinda played it a bit with the fact that she's always in the background, she's always kinda acting like a proper lady instead of sperging out like the rest of the club, which is chalked to her insecurity. She also seems to be more melancholic and a bit serious, so at least for me it feels that her insecurity makes sense. While the other girls are also varying degrees of dorks, they have a bit more cheerful personalities, specially considering Ai, Setsuna and Kasumi which are maybe the most whammy but are also kinda flashy compared to her, who seems to be most fitting to sing a sad ending than a hype opening. So she would feel even more insecure about the rest of the club, as oppossed to feel like she can be more expressive. Kasumi took too much of the spotlight in the episode, I would preferred to see a bit more of the audition and the drama club senpai (specially since it seems that senpai was rooting for her in a roundabout, tough love way, at least we had her perform as Dark Shizuku). However, it was pretty fitting to have Rina, as someone similar, to be the one to pin down Shizuku's issue and Kasumi as her close friend and original member of the club be the one reaching her. I'm still a sucker of when they get all gay and emotional with each other, so in the end the ep also improved my opinion of Kasumi. She seems to get too much spotlight in a series that already has trouble juggling their cast, but she's always sperging about being cute and not much else, so it was great to see another side of her, trying to reach and understand a friend with a pretty much opposite personality and trying to play the role of Ai.
