At the chunin exams everything stays the same exept that i let Oro give me the curse mark before Naruto gets the fox sealed harder and i won't let Oro burn the scroll (if possible), Naruto and Sakura take care of team dosu while i'm sleeping.
The rest stays the same except that i beat Gaara with my 3 tomoes.
I don't try to attack Itachi, i'd just train with either Sakura or any other konoha kid.
I'd accept to go with the sound 4(5[6]) but the in moment i get free i would go back to konoha.
Train with Kakashi abusing shadow clone haxs and use sharingan to learn a few gates so i can use CM2 for a longer amount of time (fuck anything after 3 tomoes, i ain't learning shit that shouldn't exist).
Naruto comes back, we kill the akatsuki (except maybe Itachi), Orochimaru and Kabuto before Kaguya or even Madara appears, then i would personaly kill Danzo.
At the end i'd just be Naruto's advisor to keep him from fucking up.

You don’t need him as your teacher for sage mode, the snake cave is right outside of Konaha and even Boruto and co could get there in less than a day.
