>invent hair sticks >"OH MY GOD, YOU CALL THIS A 'HAIR STICK'?? THIS WILL REVOLUTIONIZE OUR SOCIETY!!!" >invent soup >"OH MY GOD, YOU MEAN WE DON'T HAVE TO THROW OUT THE WATER WE USE TO COOK OUR VEGETABLES WITH!?!?? INCREDIBLE, THIS WILL REVOLUTIONIZE OUR SOCIETY!!!" >invent the printing press in a rigid highly class-based theocratic civilization with strict control of information and give it away to the secular merchant caste and most underprivileged rungs of society >"Eh, that's kind of neat, I guess."
Is this legitimately the stupidest story ever written?
The common man wouldn't care about some printing magic
Angel Roberts
FUCK THE NOBLES
Eli Cooper
Why did they make myne so goddamn sexy. She is like 7yrs old ffs.
Nathaniel Evans
I mean, if they're largely illiterate and didn't have access to it before, they wouldn't value the printing press as much as they would soup.
Jaxson Reyes
nobody gave a shit when the transistor was invented, but it literally revolutionized the entire world once people started actually using them instead of vacuum tubes in computers also this
Gabriel Sullivan
>>invent hair sticks >>"OH MY GOD, YOU CALL THIS A 'HAIR STICK'?? THIS WILL REVOLUTIONIZE OUR SOCIETY!!!"
>Why aren't people in the literal middle ages who couldn't afford to go to school or get a proper education dumber compared to me?!?!?!?! Are you seriously asking this? Looks like your education was a waste of money.
Dominic Ortiz
>Nippon banzai brings civilization to filthy savage gajin who cant even produce a Katana the most powerfull weapon known to mankind >NOOOO WE WUZ KANGZ AND SHEEEIT Why does Japans superiority trigger gajin so much?
Ryan Cook
What actually happens in the story is that anyone with the slightest bit of actual education immediately recognizes the danger and potential of the printing press when they see it. And naturally the control over it is pretty much immediately taken by the nobility. The reason being that since its emergence cannot be stopped via reasonable methods anymore it's by far the least disruptive way of dealing with it.
Henry Gutierrez
but Japan is superior... It’s a fact.
Tyler Garcia
The joke is that it's fucking retarded to assume a culture would develop throwing away the water they use to cook. You have to be an undereducated japanese moron to think this. >wow, wouldn't it be fun to share amazing technology with primitive savages, like ummmmmm
Julian Green
You're just defensive because your culture was outed as savage.
Hudson Rogers
Isn't shit like soup old as fuck?
Charles Watson
In what? Getting nuked? And Conquered by Portuguese and Dutch?
Someone, supposedly of an adult mind, but worse than most children in the show mentally. Maybe she's an autist, fine. Then her quirk was about being obsessed with books but somehow she didn't really care to memorize the majority of contents she read? Like, what the fuck? If she legit had a bad memory, just what kind of pleasure she can derive from reading tons of books in the first place? She's probably the stupidest female protagonist ever written.
Easton Thompson
>being obsessed with books but somehow she didn't really care to memorize the majority of contents she read Well, it's not something unusual, user. I'm almost the same. Whole process of "petting" the letters with your eyes feels great, i don't really care for content, i only care for words.
Mason Mitchell
Why do the Japanese think that backward savages are THIS backward and savage? We've had shoes and stuff for thousands of years. Even in Japan.
Landon Campbell
The nipponese started wearing shoes in the mid 1970s.
Camden Gonzalez
Western shoes sure. Eastern and tribal savage equivalents nah.
Levi Young
>why did the Roman think of germania tribes as barbarian, cultureless baboon?
Landon Sanchez
Certainly not for a lack of food, footwear or drinking containers. It was more because they were unorganized as fuck but still had a relatively powerful military strength when they banded together. Also a lack of art/writing.
Jackson Watson
I would say it is unusual, but really, it's only just a part of the problem Myne had. If not for the excellent supporting casts, I wouldn't be able to stomach over a hundred chapters with her repeating thoughtless acts and seemingly the inability to learn from her mistakes.
Anthony Price
This manga died too soon
Jaxon Cruz
>You're starving? Just eat food this is ironic, right?
