With Uniswap there is no order book, the price is 100% driven by selling and buying pressure. There is always a pair with two tokens, like BRDG and ETH. The smart contract always considers both tokens to be 50% of the value.
If you buy BRDG with ETH. Then ETH is increased while BRDG is decreased. So BRDG gets more value, or ETH loses value. But since ETH value is very stable it will just push BRDG price up.
