honest question: how do you guys make money in the market if it's supposedly not just gambling/luck? how the fuck can you just put tens of thousands of dollars into something and just hope it goes up instead of down?
Kayden Green

Pullbacks are expected Even multiyear Its about probabilities

It will always be king in the AI space because it created an artificial, unbreakable monopoly. For vidya it could change. Eitherway nvidia is a great investment.
To invest in silver, either buy the mining ETFs (SIL/SILJ) or the Sprott trust ETF for bullion (PSLV), which is endorsed by Rick Rule and considered to be trustworthy.

I still diversify into soxx and qqq but huge overweight in nva with entries sub 200

Tencet problems wrecked my ATVI positions

A lot of people are gamblers but over the long term, markets tend to go up instead of down. So you have a higher chance of making money than not if you invest long term.
Kayden Wright
>and just hope it goes up instead of down?
Fiscal policy is designed to push stock values it. It's not fucking random. Where the hell else are people supposed to store their money? In a savings account with 0.05% interest?

Odds Find mistakes Pick winners Theres no simple.formula and it evolves each day
Just adapt.faster and think clearer
Carson Jackson
teach me how you use your "research" to play earnings like give me a play for the week and explain why i should invest my $50k into it.
No one good cept insiders play earnings as a crux. The only er I played this year was fucking nonsensical abstract reasoning even I couldnt communicate
Julian Sullivan
elaborate more on those points, that's too ambiguous. how do you figure out the "odds"? what do you mean by "find mistakes"? how do you "pick winners"? fucking explain shit nigga this information is useless otherwise
Jordan Johnson
when do you stop day trading or swing trading and just go long on something like tech stocks, qqq or spy? $500k? like when is it no longer worth the risk, and just a few percent each year is enough

Lyft puts might be a good play. It's always been overshadowed by it's sexier counterpart, Uber. Ridesharing services, in general, have been hemorrhaging money and don't really make a profit. At least Uber has food delivery and partnerships with fast food places. Lyft has... nothing?
It's possible Lyft is already placed in but if you've actually got $50k I'd just test the waters with a few thousand in puts.
Carson Diaz
Just buy and hold spy
Bentley Collins
I'm considering doing this at 50k, or at least going half in QQQ and SOXX
give me any good play then. what matters to me more is the explanation and reasoning than anything else honestly, im interested in the why it's a good play rather than just "hey do this" like
Isaiah Reed
Basically intuitive self built thought models are superior to systems for an avg person.

No one will ever answer your question. Or if they do they’re answering incorrectly in order to make you lose money. The stock market is a zero sum game. For one to win, another must lose. So no one here will genuinely help you.
He won't. He was in the last thread just saying things like "just watch the videos bruh"
Carson Long
I've already gone from $9000 to $21000 on it so not a whole lot dingus.

No seriously, what can we expect after the election. Anyone here heavily invested during the last 1 or 2 elections? If stocks drop, is it a quick overreaction and quick recovery, or do some markets get nipped for years?
Carter Cox
fundamentals
no, good earnings alone are not fundamentals so dont buy into a stagnanting dinosaur like Intel just because its balance sheet is still good. At least not right now with no obvious future prospects or you're basically gambling.
just buy TSM lol, dont make it hard for yourself.
Jack Cooper
I buy shares of profitable and market dominating companies. Wow, that was hard.

>spoopy delist stock
I don't even own silver stuff, but stuff gets on the delisted section fairly often. All they have to do is fix the issue within the threshold time limit.
