Oh shit user you´re back. I went and finished the manga after reading your threads, it´s really fucking good. And yes the ending hits like a truck, i´m still thinking about it. I can´t think of many works that depict romance in such a raw way, but still comes off as totally honest. This two kids really are crazy for each other, and the author did a fantastic job to depict that through his art.

Here is my experience when I finished Sundome for the first time btw: Best romance story ever imo, and impressively depicts the struggle of a girl to not be forgotten and leave something behind her in the world, while doing the best with her situation and going out in a bang of passion and love.
Doubt that I will find anything like this ever again in fiction and man, the end left me immensly satisfied but also depressed and with a killed zero libido for a week... first time that ever happened to me from a fictional work.
