having just read fire punch, i can see the mangaka do basically the same thing in csm. like randomly killing off characters without any set up or explanation. characters are introduced and randomly super important. being really quirky with pop culture references. important plot points devolve and happen really fast. mangaka seems to be nihilistic all around and pulpy. and fire punch made no sense at all and it was sometimes hard to follow the art (when surya was introduced i thought she was togato) but he improved alot with csm
