Ready for WE WUZ KANGZ?

We can always trust in Trigger to save anime. It's their job

doubt it. trigger isn't the studio to make good worlds with deep messages.
was BNA cyberpunk or close?
i'll just be waiting for the aliens, and even if thye dont appear the experience will have been ruined because I couldn't do anything but worry about the aliens while i was watching

I hate video games, I hate Zig Forums, I hate gamers.

2022? The game will be long forgotten by then.

maybe if they get themselves someone who can really write and understand the genre well
BNA was really disappointing in that regard

It was never their job. It's a wonder how that meme ever got co-opted from Yamakan to Trigger, and worse yet, is now taken seriously.

If there's one genre where vibrant diversity isn't out of place, it's dystopian fiction

not if they announce story dlc

Won't it just be CGIshit

I'm hyped for cyberpunk, and I like Trigger.
I'm not planning on watching it

reminds me of pic related from rebuild world

It should be interesting regardless of whether it 'saves' anything or not, Trigger's probably the only studio that can pull off something that stylized though, so I'll give it a shot.

I want more video games to get anime adaptations.
Halo Legends was really fun even if a little rough.

I hate finns

>implying cyberpunk anime hasn't already been saved

I feel like by 2022 we're going to have a lot of dystopian cyberpunk anime/manga/light novels.
They'll probably all have sub-plots about a virus causing a pandemic too.

I think the idea is the higher ups know full well the game is a disaster but they also know people will be in denial about it at first due to the hype. so just as people start to look at it more objectively suddenly edgerunners comes out and it's so good they forget they were starting to turn against the franchise.

any recommendations for good cyberpunk manga/anime?

Reminder that edgerunners is named after this sourcebook

This stuff is set in 2020 though so most of the characters in this would be dead or retired already
