Why there's no Tonikawa thread?
Tonikaku Kawaii
Cause it's boring and makes virgins mad.
Tonikawa is the antithesis of modern anime romance
Several reasons
1) it’s not Friday when the episode airs
2) the new chapter is not translated yet
3) I’m too lazy to dump the raw hat was released earlier today
4) 70% of anons who watched this show already offed themselves because they’ll never find a cool dork wife
Kawaiitai...
bump
>70% of anons who watched this show already offed themselves because they’ll never find a cool dork wife
Reality sure is harsh.
Cause the show is garbage, I dropped it six episodes in and don't think I'm missing out on more of the same shit
I've seen some pages of the manga and they were actually pretty funny though
If I listen to you will you kill yourself?
Listen to what.
I usually don't get angry at anime I don't like being popular, but why the actual fuck is this fucking garbage surpassing higurashi or even kamisama ni natta hi? It's not just boring, it's fucking bad. The only fun you can have with this series is speed reading the manga which I've done The fact that so many people are watching this on a weekly basis just reminds me that everyone who watches anime is fucking 14 years old and I'm getting too old for this shit. Don't even fucking tell me "b-but it's cute!". Fuck you.
I'm 40.
>I'm getting too old for this shit
But this anime isnt about some teenager bullshit romance, it's about a married couple.
I can't tell if you're trolling or genuinely retarded, but I want to blow off steam anyway.
Nasa is 18, tsukasa is 16. They're teenagers.
Also, this isn't how married couples act. Hell, this isn't even how teenagers in a relationship act at that age. This series has the worst, and I mean, THE WORST portrayal of male-female interaction I have EVER seen. It's not even over the top for comedic purposes, it's fucking genuine. It's
>Wow my wife is so cute!
>Wow my husband is so cute!
>I love you nasa kun!
>I love you tsukasa chan!
>cute
>Cute!
>CUTE!!
EVERY. FUCKING. CHAPTER.
THE ONLY plot device the series EVER had tsukasa is an ayy was completely forgotten about. There is nothing of value here. It's just all unrealistic lovey dovey filler, which I'm usually fine with, but not this. If most barely-story-driven romance is like eating mcdonalds, tonikawa is like eating fucking sand. But again, this show is made for children, so I shouldn't be that upset.
no, it makes me sad not mad.
Lol u mad incel?
What about it is not realistic? Do couples not call each other cute all the time?
Why don't Tonikawa threads hit bump limit anymore? Most don't even reach 250 posts either.
The feels hit the virgins too hard.
cope
Unlike you, I've actually been in relationships and have sex regularly. If you did the same you would probably realize this show is garbage too
Couples call each other cute, yeah. They don't however call each other cute every five minutes, unless it's a very surface level relationship and only care about each other's looks. If tonikawa's goal was to show the day to day life of a young married couple, it's been done horribly. Every problem is solved with an asspull from nasa's "genius", and the chapter will end with "wow, my husband is so smart and cute!", "wow, my wife is so mysterious.....and cute!".
It's barely even content. The constant "you're cute, no you're cute" bullshit is what middle schoolers do when they get their first boyfriend/girlfriend. It's why they only last for a month. This anime tries to put that kind of behavior for adults in a positive light, and it just comes off as cringy and the artist knowing absolutely nothing about how relationships actually work.
Because it's shit. I used to make tonikawa threads when the anime was first airing before I was enlightened on how bad it is. Nobody ever gave a shit about this anime.
These are not arguments.
I'm pretty sure there's a lot of couples out there that simply fall in love at the first sight and then jump into a relationship that going well until married. But put the realism bs aside, i kinda like the fact that this anime skipped some steps that usually happened in nowadays male-female relationship. Because usually teenagers just want to feel 'good' and don't want to take the responsibility they supposedly have to take. This anime puts the importance of marriage in a much more positive light. It might be shit and unrealistic but what else do you expect from nowadays modern romance anime.
cope harder, edgelord
Boring. Underwhelming art. Watched 3 eps and gave up, nothing really happens.
My god i can feel the seethe through my screen
Why is this series so reluctant to show Tsukasa's underwear? Not even Hayate was that prudish: in fact Hayate had pantyshots among others.
I can't really see how this anime shows the importance of marriage when nasa and tsukasa aren't faced with any real issues that married couples have to face, besides a couple of moments like tsukasa facing loneliness and jealousy while nasa was getting bombarded with willing girls of the same age at the school where he was teaching and had to work up the courage to tell nasa that she had a problem with it.
If it had more chapters like that, and it showed how they work together through real problems, or on the contrary, if random funny events happened and the series didn't take itself seriously, then I would say this series is worth anyone's time.
People used to say in the early threads that this show was funded by the japanese government to promote marriage to increase the birth rate in japan. I no longer believe this isn't the case.
>People used to say in the early threads that this show was funded by the japanese government to promote marriage to increase the birth rate in japan.
I honestly thought the same.
Fans are killing themselves with each ep/manga chapter. That's why posting frequency has been decreasing
Yeah man the chapter where tsukasa becomes a samurai out of thin air and fights an animatronic scorpion really made me depressed over the fact that I'm single
